Hi Helen - just got kicked off - I'm really happy - I just reread what I wrote and realized that I sounded like a ticked off spoiled child - I really am happy - as I got my 2nd choice in Rome - just wondering what happened - I suspect that this is probably what happened and like DD says - they've got to have some spots open - she volunteered on embarkation day to wheel my bags while I "Run" to the excursions desk and see if they have any spots available.

I will post a list of what I got as soon as I straighten out the confirmation sheets - right now they are scattered all over the floor as I had DD on a 2nd compter doing her cabin and she managed to spill the tray with all the sheets - when it clattered to the floor - DS said - something fell - I yelled at him - LEAVE IT!!!

OK - I admit it - I went just a teensy weensy little

No you didn't sound like spoilt child, you just sounded full of excitement and adrenalin (like me )

Sounds like you have a great DD I'll try not to stand in front of you @ the port in case I get run over

I too have paper all over the floor Why did they print a worthless 2nd sheet with nothing on for each reservation

Ok all - I'm mad too and don't know what happened. Got online at 12 midnight and when I got to my saved list - my VIP Behind the Scenes DID NOT show up - really wanted this one - was able to get everything I wanted elsewhere and the only one I really wanted was the one mentioned above.

However, I managed to book the VIP Exclusive Vatican and Highlights of Rome - DD says that I should be happy and to check back at 75 days -I'm hoping that they saved a few spots - don't know what happened to my Vatican BTS Tour - it just never showed up as available although it was in my wish list - anyone get this one?

I'm so jealous - but happy - looks like most everyone got what they wanted with the exception of one person so far (so sorry for your problems) hopefully you'll get it straightened out.

Also I guess I was lucky enough to book both a brunch and a dinner on Day 7 - day at sea have never done brunch but heard its good. I will probably be canceling one as I couldn't book the brunch for 4 0 DD and her BFF wanted to do it and they couldn't get it - so we both booked dinner that same night at 6:30. Counted myself lucky for being able to book both Brunch and Dinner on the same day and on a sea day at that!

OK - anyone else with input?

Brunch, in my opinon is far better than Dinner, I also prefer afternoon tea thoose cakes!

I tried to get on here this morning right after booking but could not get on disboards and gave up. Way too tired.

I did get everything we wanted. It was a decent long and slow process. I was done almost an hour later (wasted time going back and forth and too slow loading up, etc.).

I tried to book spa treatment a few different times and kept getting web site not responding. I tried again this morning and even though it is responding, not loading up. Giving up for now.

Olbia - La Cinta - early 9:15 am
Rome - Ultimate Rome Experience
La Spezia - Florence and Pisa
Marseille - Palace of the Popes and Lex Baux

I went in this morning again and booked Palo - right now I have two different reservations - one of course I will be 99% cancelling - too early - not sure we will make it in time. The other one is a bit late - so will either keep this one or cancel all together. I want to give DCL a call first and decide. Unless Wendy gets us all 10 adults.

I barely got any sleep and have a nasty headache which hopefully Advil will kick in soon. My pet "Sasha" wants my attention also and making it slower/difficut to type

I am happy for everyone since almost everyone got what they wanted. I know one or two got second choice and someone else had problems - hope everything is all figured out.

It depends on th cabins available last time I looked it was limited particularly on the higher grades, if you Search for the Carribean seve day cruises in September is far worse with lots of availability, lots of people are not like us and do book late.

DH & I set 3 alarms for 3AM. We got in about 2:58. We got almost all we wanted with the exception of Village of Cefalu and Marionette Show. It didn't come up at all, meaning it was probably booked at 105 days. We did get our second choice, Village of Cefalu. We really want to go there as it is where my grandfather was from. Helen, I think we have Palo brunch on the same day as you:

7/31 Tues: Pompeii, Sorrento & Capri (I really appreciate the info Andrew, but I've always heard about Capri and wanted to see it once - plus DH doesn't do well on buses and the Almalfi excursion warned if you have motion sickeness....)
8/1 Wed: Day at Sea at Maddalena Arch.
8/2 Thurs: VIP Vatican & Highlights of Rome
8/3 Fri: Palo Brunch
8/4 Sat: Florence & Michaelangelo
8/5 Sun: Palace of Popes and Les Baux

Thanks to all for the tips. It worked great working off the wish list. DH & I were like an assembly line: He booked, read off conf # I scribbled it down, he hit print, back to wish list..... I printed too, Helen, it's our proof! LOL
