so we are at about 79. Getting closer to 100.

I'm just seeing if there is enough interest to even place an order. Once I see enough interest, my plan is to ask/vote what people want exactly, what it should say, what color, etc. I was thinking of ordering once I get everyone's payment and bringing them to Barcelona to pass out. So cost should be around $2.50 to $3.50 depending on what we choose. Here is a link to some samples.
The other DISsers have used the 1/2" lanyards and say they are very comfortable.

The badge reel is removable, so you can just wear it clipped to you belt or purse when you don't want to use the lanyard. If you don't want a badge reel, don't order one. We only need a minimum order of 10 blank badge reels. ($3.50)

Badge holder vertical, either #370 or #372, whichever fit the Key to the World card: http://www.kennyproducts.com/Mercha...GY&Store_Code=KPI&Category_Code=Badge-Holders
Here's another badge holder with a ziplock on top: http://www.laminationstation.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=807&item=BH506ZS&type=store
Here's an interesting one, wonder how secure that is: http://www.laminationstation.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=806&item=BH504HC1&type=store

My family is fine with whatever you decide......I will send a check or pay via paypal, whatever is best.

On our last cruise, we did the little plastic "livestrong" type bracelets....and we all sent a check to the person that did it. Checks were all sent before the order was placed so noone got stuck....

Well since we are getting close to 100, why don't we start thinking about what we want:
color
what should the custom printing say (is "Rome-ancing the Mouse, Disney Magic Cruise, July 28, 2007" good enough?)
design : would be cool to have a background mickey head or something. formerCPer said he would help with graphics

So lets discuss:surfweb:

I already got some feedback:
badge reel is not needed, makes the lanyard heavier (option 2 would allow those who wanted a reel and those that don't want one, plus the reel is detachable, so you can just use it when you don't want to wear the lanyard).

So lets discuss:surfweb:

Thank you gor ornaising this I like

Add another three for us, please. I'll go with whatever the majority wants, but will give my vote, too. Thank you.:thumbsup2

Also, I'd like to participate in the grab bag, too. :)

I'm a scrapbooker too!!!!

I'm always looking for things to embelish the Disny scrpbooks with. I've even gotten my husband to think that way.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting a Palo brunch or tea reservation? I keep trying the website but I'm going cross eyed with all of the refreshing I'm doing.

Hello everyone
I've been in Cumbria for the long weekend, I'm nice and chilled now!!
Welcome to all the new posters.
Andrew we are celebrating our 17th anniversary on 3rd August
We'd like lanyards please (2)
and we'll be in the adult grab bags, have we decided on a price limit and an exchange venue, for adults i think it's best not to worry about who's in or not until the event then those who put one in take one out and the numbers should all work out.

Looks like a busy month

Or as I like to call it - Christmas in July!

DS is aiming for a new car since he heard DH talk about how well the company is doing this year - I wonder if anyone should explain to him the reall difference between real hard cold cash and assets? Not the same thing at all!

HaltermanFamilySepia.jpg

Here is my family

DH - Don
Me - Lisa
DS18 - Daniel
DD13 - Annie
DD11 - Gretchen

Lisa - Awesome family picture - how in the world do you get them to pose AND SMILE like the mean it? :sad2: Your my idol!!!! (I usually get the fake tight smile and end up saying - forget about it!)

OK - here's how we're handling it on the EB REPO:

Not a suggestion - just telling you how THAT cruise is doing it: We got the suggestions from the lady that handled the SM on the 11 Night Southern Carribean cruise in Sept.

Name exchange done by the organizer and her asst. - (which probably won't work here in this case)

$ limit of about $30 dollars.

Minimum of 5 gifts and spread throught out the cruise

meet at the last day at sea.

However, gift bags with a small amt is good - there's lots of inexpensive gifts to get out there - one just has to get creative. S/A postcard, small momentos from state, etc.

Remember all - we are all stuck with this weight restriction thing and let me tell you - I will bring my shoes before I carry anything big and awkward in my suitcase (been there - dont that) - no offense anyone. But being a girl and all - you KNOW we have this shoe thing. (You know how you men have this gadget thing????) :lmao: :rotfl2: It all takes up space no matter how small which can be better occupied by 'other' things.

Also, another ave to think about - maybe it can be scheduled for a later sea day, then how about we get something small from a port? Many creative thinkers got small items from the ports s/a a postcard, a rock or a vial of sand from a vendor - things like that - small, inexpensive but cute stuff.

Also, mementos from state would be good too - just buy generic things for either boy or girl s/a a school eraser, ruler, cards, etc. Only if the genders are way off.

OK - them are my 2 cents - I'm being rushed off the compter right now - be back later.

1/Keep looking every day they do open up.
2/ 75 day mark they mighto open up more be there at 3amEST 8AM UK
3/Get to port early be one of the first on and go to the desk for Palo's they hold some back

We can do whatever, but it may be dictated by how much printing space we have. I had actually started working something up on paper. Once I know what size and kind of product we will go with it will be easier to show the group some options.

I failed to mention that our DD Madelynne will turn 8 on 8/30 and DD Megan will be 16 on 9/16 (but she is still lobbying for us to allow her a glass of wine in Italy since the legal age is 16 I understand). Most of all, the cruise is our Tenth Anniversary present to each other. Anybody that can stand me that long deserves something this nice. :thumbsup2

Brian
