It's very disconcerting to wake up here in US and not see a post from Andrew- I'm a bit worried 
Helen- I am going to try to post a map of the USA with little stars where we are all from, I too wonder where in England you are all from, of course I picture everyone right near Buckingham Palace

I dont remember too much about the layout of the ship- but how about a particular place outside ,near the sun and the lounge chairs- or- would that be too noisy ??This way anyone who comes late wont have to worry, cause many of us ,I think, would be lounging on deck when crusin??
But you guys are much more knowledgeable than me-
I also think one gift bag- I like the place of origin idea on the bag!!!

Hi, do not be worried, I am around, I still have bad headaches etc, I am just easing back on everything which includes posting here. I am booked back to see the Doctor Monday. I wasnt given any tablets, I prefer that as you get hooked, and Iam trying to do what he suggested walking etc, but it is still around.
I had a full check last time, yes high blood pressure, but he wasnt overlly concerned, but I will go back.
I am not scheduled to do the Palo brunch with you guys (I am travelling with 30 and we are trying for our own Palo.....
However when I have done the brunch before it is everybit of 2 hours....if not longer. If your Palo is 11:30, I do not think a 1pm brunch will be possible....
How about 10am or 10:30am ... would that be too early?

I think they close at 1pm, maybe wrong, but my personal time is 11.30 to 1.30pm, you can try on the details I sent you.

Thanks .map is a good idea, I just updated my cruise passporter, it turned up today, last one had the West coast ports so i am keeping that for 2008, the new one has maps of all Med ports and a small Med map. I got it from
Amazon on low cost and a double' with
Disneyland CL, as I will look to go there pre cruise.

Im just wondering - how will you guys be with the time difference after travelling over from the states?
I know when we go to WDW the first few days we are up @ 4-5am as our bodies take a couple of days to adjust.
Time difference going west is best, us to USA, coming back East is worse, your first trip.
Now the best advice, is Water only, no soda, no booze even if its free. Set watches and all time to destination time as soon as you board, if night flight, eat small at airport and skip plane meal coming to us. it lays on your tummy if you sleep and kids often are sick.
coming to us try to sleep asap, if you leave say 5pm onwards, difficult on a plane I know, if you cant sleep for the first hour walk around the plane. No coffee or tea.
Again time to desination asap, going to USA my kids have gone 24 hours they stay up to its dark on first night say 9pm, then they are on USA time.
If coming to us and you reaaly are tired sleep a little am but go out and about in the sun pm, if you sleep on arrival all day, you will then stay up that night and stay on USA time.
Going back eat as USA time.
I have been going to the
DCL website at least every hour to try for a Palo reservation. I keep hoping someone will book an excursion and give up their Palo time. I know the chances are slim to none but WE LOVE Palo. Yesterday their was one available for Naples but in conflicted with our excursion.
We're also hoping for a Brunch and/or Tea reservation.
Our first two cruises were with the kids and this one is just the 2 of us.
Our daughter wouldn't go to the Oceaneer Lab so it was hard to get away. When we came out of Palo we found her waiting at the elevator for us to finish. It will be nice to go and not worry about where the kids are. But now we can't get a reservation. Go Figure!
Has anyone gotten to go to Palo from the waiting list?
Keep trying, or try to be first on on embarkation day, 75 day mark is soon try then.

I am off to WDW (yes all the way from CA) for the weekend - wish me luck - the 1st time traveling alone since my young, independant days! I may be on but not sure yet. Am meeting some DIS boards friends from our 11 Night Cruise in Sept. YIPPEE!

Yes, I noticed that there are a lot teachers- I cant wait to compare our schools days and years. I've been teaching for 25 years- 
I've been teaching first grade for the last 9 years in a district about 20 min from my home called Levittown. I love it !!! Its an exhausting day- I never sit, but the kids are like little sponges- and they think Im a princess!!! What more could I want from a job!!!
Maryanne, I cant believe you teach at Kellenberg, 2 very close friends of ours son and daughter went there a few years back, but the third chose Sacred Heart where she is now. I am having my daughter take the co- ops, since Im not sure if I will send her Garden City High School in two years, or Scared Heart. I cant wait to ask you for your "pearls of wisdom" on Catholic vs public school.
Yes Helen- I am VERY concerned about the time differences, and the stop over in Paris and the extra night in Barcelona before the cruise. Add the excursions on top of that, and I think you will find us face down floating in the pool by day 4!! I guess I 'm more concerned about my daughter holding up than us, but I plan to plan to bring plenty of cover-up for the dark circles that will constantly be under my eyes-!!
I just got home from school because I have conjunctivitis- which has been going around my classroom, so I am taking advantage of this day by cleaning and doing some reading from all the guide books I have.
I am soooooo excited- I cant stand it-!!
But Im still worried about Andrew!
