I'm doing the same thing - saving my nice jewelry for the ship & wearing costume jewelry on certain tours. I do have a gold cross necklace that I pretty much wear everyday, and will probably wear that regardless... we'll see

I'm only bringing my wedding band as much as I like to show off my jewelry - I'm afraid of what can happen to it in Barcelona, Paris and Paris DL. So I worked too hard to hand it over to someone else so they unfortunately will be staying home. Am wrestling with costume jewelry though. But I like the idea of accumulating things enroute!

As I just explained, I did not say I didn't like it -- I just didn't appreciate being targeted as too hard on you by Crash when I felt he didn't observe similar incidents in the other direction . . .

And as for the joke going on too long, don't think I'm not planning some tea bag revenge on JR for August 2008! "A dish best enjoyed cold . . ."

And I found that women are great with long-term memory!

I just got a shock, well a fright anyhow - IM not keen on having my phototaken - Dave and I are normally the couple rushing past everyone in the embarkation photo line. Well at the weekend there was a pro photographer @ the dog competition. He put his photos on the web today. There are some good ones of the dogs and ARGHHHHHHH There I am standing with Floss. Iam wet (rain) hair all aover the place - Floss looks good though.

Hey - just a note - for those of us going on to Paris, I bought our party of 6 a group Museum pass in order to cut down on some line time. Iwas just going to wait until I got there but decided to order them and have them shipped instead of picking up at the HRC in Paris. YUP - HRC in Paris - if anyone wants to know the address - I can get it - its linked up to the website for Paris Museum Pass. They should be here in CA before the 15th of July. You must have at least 10 working days before you need to allow for shipping. Also, be aware - I think Bastille Day is July 14th - is that a National Holiday over there? Anyone know? I know on our end - we have July 4th coming up.

The passes are good for consecutive days only in increments of 2,4 or 6 but I got 4 days. This allows free passage on the River Seine cruise which I wanted to take in on the night we got there - the guide books all say to take a night river cruise.

It allows entry into over 60 museums including the Louvre and several others. Figured one less line to stand in is great for us!

Both my boys were scouts. Mo oldest is an Eagle Scout. I miss those days.

Hi Andrew. Ours (The 2nd Brunch Group) is Aug 3rd at 10:30 am. YEA! They have confirmed we have the private room. (I have always wanted to do that!!) Congrats on getting yours too!!

I've never been in the private room, but I agree Harole Ann, the dining room is wonderful! The view is spectacular. When we were in the California Grille at the Contemporary we marveled to the waiter how much it looked like Palo. It seems they modeled Palo after the Cal. Grille! No wonder we like it so much!

Been away all day and 10 pages of ketchup.

ON another note - I've been trying to download books all day and some of the newer books are not coming up in iTunes. Which simply means that for someone like me who is a bit anal and has to have all the informations which NO ONE will ever see correct- I have to correct or add info on 10 cds - I'm on 50 of CD 2 and have been at it for 6 hrs!

Why of why couldn't I just leave well enough alone?

Its too late - now I started and I have to finish!
