You know I said I wasn't any good -this is my 1st attempt @ a door sign

Is it as bad as I think ?:confused3

Well done Helen...I haven't read anyone eles comments yet as I'm still playing ketchup but I think it looks great

Dan - having some trouble viewing image - I get some login screen saying I've been logged off due to inactivity. Is it just me? Thanks - am considering doing your suggestion and taking it to a graphics/t-shirt shop so that I don't mess it up when I attempt to make it and end up so frustrated that I just take it to someone anyway. Saves times if I just go there from the get-go. ;)

Well, my attempt to share a folder on my xdrive was less than successful - I've updated the links - they should work ok now.

Brian was kind enough to send me a high res image a couple of weeks back. I spent some time cleaning it up (had some jpg compression artifacts).

Here are two images. The first one is a single high res image that's had its resolution adjusted to appear exactly 4.5 inches wide (the maximum recommended size for T-shirt pocket).

The second one is the same, except it has two images on a page - for those who want to print out their own T-shirt transfers to help conserve paper.

I thought you would like it, as you like Cats, from Doctor Who a BBC SCI-FI programme aimed at family viewing, and kids. You should have seen the little kittens they were very nice!!
!!

What Andrew might have missed is the Dr. Who CATS runnin' the hospital were also engaged in Antigravity research with thier kittens.. and here are some of thier findings:

When have I been nice to you (Andrew?)? I bristle at the very notion! My assigned position is to keep you in line, not "be nice" . . .

Julie...

... I am inclined to agree with you...

... your crew NEEDS someone assigned to

officially keep Andrew in line...

I was just putting papers together for the cruise, and looking at the original date on the conformation fax from DCL of 4-3-06, it seemed like this cruise was forever in the future!;) Now, after all these months, over a year of talking---we are almost there:banana: ..... Now I know the time will fly. This has been so much fun, planning, talking, & making new friends! Do you think the :smickey: ship can take us?

Harole Anne,

Everytime I look at my reservation on-line, I think the same thing. It seemed so far away and no need to even think about it for a while once we made the reservation. I can't believe it's almost here. I sure hope it does not fly by too fast when we are cruising. I want to stop, take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery, smells, food, beauty, etc. Unfortunately it will then be over before we know it.:guilty:

I know how you feel. It seemed like I had so much time and now the panic is slowly starting to set in. We're in the middle of building a new house too, so life is very HECTIC. The cruise will be a welcome relief from all the planning and building plans.

New house? Exciting and hectic. Enjoy it and build some new, wonderful memories in it. :goodvibes

:scared: I just had the Most Major Panic Attack.............as I mentioned earlier today...I planned to register online today........so I collected my family's passports and.................Tara's was missing (DD22).......so I spent about 2 hours looking for it AND I FOUND IT..........but I was in major panic mode........I've been registering since then............MY ADVICE.......REGISTER NOW SO THAT IF YOU ARE MISSING ANYTHING, THERE IS PLENTY OF TIME TO STRAIGHTEN IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Boy, do I know that feeling - except we never found my ds's passport and luckly we had enough time to get a temporary one for his Spring Break trip. Since it happened with him, I can't tell you how worried I was when my other son recently went to the Bahamas - I was more concerned about the passport than him - terrible isn't it :sad2:

You too? Doc just doubled my medication. Now I am real jumpy in the morning, and get really bogged down around 1 or 2pm.

On a sad note - the 'nodules' on my thyroid are not only still there, but bigger. Doc gave me a name as i have to go have them do a special type of biopsy. He said to wait till after the cruise. I'm worried that i will have to have more surgery to have the whole thing removed. Wouldn't be so bad if I was in my 60's. But to think of taking medication for the next 60 years sucks.

Best wishes on the nodules - hoping for the best.:grouphug:

(There were quotes indie of quotes - I hope I quoted the right person :confused3 )

Hi everyone,

For those of you like me, who really aren't good at doing iron-on transfers, there is a site called Zazzle.com, that will let you customize a t-shirt in various styles & then send to you. I think the cost is fairly reasonable, depending on what you want to put on it.

Here is a rough sample of what a lady's t-shirt would look like with our logo on the front pocket and our tags on the bag -- there are also sleeveless, long-sleeved, men's, etc.

If you're interested, the website for the t-shirts is: http://www.zazzle.com/custom/tshirts

You can also personalize other items, too.

MaryJo,

This is great. Are you saying perhaps we could order these for us if we are interested? How do you put those logos on them? I would not even know where to start.

I was actually about to ask Helen - Please mail me one of your door signs w/Gaspare and Anna on it.

Perhaps we should all have the same door sign. Another connection to the dis.

Must have missed the quote for this one. Lisa had suggested getting a second group together for Brunch.
Sorry about all the following posts. I just can't manage the multi quote thing.

Lisa,
We would love this. I was just thinking the other day that maybe we could get a second group together. I would also be interested in getting a group together for tea if anyone is interested in that. I'd be willing to try and orgainze it.
So count us in for a group brunch.

Sandra and Gerry

They have a step by step process where you can upload graphics, choose if you want them to be in the center or over pocket, and you can add text. You design the shirt, approve the shirt, and pay for it if you want & they'll send to you.

The shirt with the front & back designs you see here comes out to $18.45 usd before tax & shipping. It is $2 less with only one graphic, that I could tell. I don't know if other t-shirts would be more or less.

:)

And you just answered my question. I should keep reading before replying - but then that's how I miss one here and there.

If someone is willing to do this for me (perhaps Wendy?) - I cannot, unload, upload, download or anthing. lol.:lmao:

Ok, we've cancelled our first day Barcelona tour b/c we're afraid we might be happier just chillin' onboard or taking a quick taxi tour to Las Ramblas or HRC,,,,just scared that the traveling will be too tough and rest is a better than overkill..........????:confused3

We are also not booking anything. We will see how everything goes once we board and how we feel. We might be ready to relax by then.

I thought that we waiting for the back image as we were getting our tags into a Mickey Shape that Aurora 1959 or Dan ?? was doing for us and that she was waiting until July 1st so that the TF could do her stuff !!

THanks for the warning. I was just wondering which one thing I should do today and that's IT.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Also, DH told me this morning that he's coming home early today to get his Tux fitted. Last night I mentioned on the Board that I was concerned that he hadn't had it altered yet. He's lost a bit of weight and it doesn't fit right now. ANd since he's going to be around early we can go and get the kids passport applications in. (No they are not coming with us on this cruise but we are going on a cruise with them in Feb. 08.) So either he's been lurking, or he's been thinking about it too. Either way I'm happy it's getting done.

Helen,
Where did you get the clipart for your door decoration? I want to get started and don't even know where to begin. Also which program did you use. Computer Graphics is not my gift. I can scrapbook with paper and utensils but digitally, I'm quite limited.

My oldest is starting to get some of the teenage attitude. More the resistance that you often deal with, less attitude. Which is good because it means he's actually maturing. I know it sounds weird, but little things like that make me happy. Like when he called grandma and asked her how she was doing. and what was her day like, and what were her plans for tomorrow, etc. I actually walked away and started crying. (happy tears) He was 11 and finally learned how to talk to someone.

Now - my 9 year old on the other hand. Well - He's 9 going on 17. And has been since he was 6. I can't imagine what he is going to be like.

Laura - I am so sorry. I don't know what's worse. The fact that he is behaving this way, or that your family is tip toeing around it.

Carrie, I'm sorry to hear about the thyroid problem. Taking medications on a daily basis with no end in sight can be discouraging. I try to be thankful that the medication is available now where years ago there wasn't anything they could do.

Sandra

Many thanks for the good advise!

Now that all of the:laundy: is done, again---I hate that job---if we could join a nudist colony for almost a month, I would have it made!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Harole Ann, should I be concerned, we are on an all day private excursion in Rome with you. I just hope you have clothes left by day 6. Otherwise, Sallie won't be the only one flashing. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: THe poor Pope.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

MaryJo,
You are an incredible resource. Someone mentions something and you seem to know immediately where it would be available. What a gift!!! and thank you for sharing.
