Hi Julie - we mentioned how are we to recognize each other. I mentioned that I sometimes wear a lime green baseball cap and that I would probably put a lime green ribbon somewhere on my camera or headstrap. I also went out and bought this little t-shirt and shoulder cover in BRIGHT LIME GREEN.

I think that Aurora1959 AKA Carrie is working on getting us a t-shirt design with our tag sayings and little either scrolled around or superimposed on the head.

When we get the t-shirt designs we can have then use iron-on transfer paper to print out the transfers & put them on our t-shirts, if we take any. We also discussed using our logo on the front, where a pocket would be if we have polo/t shirts.

Isn't there a company (cafe press? or zazzle?) where you can send them your design & they'll print it for you? I'm considering that since my iron on transfers do not work very well. We'll see.

Penny -- the fish extenders that are discussed here are things with pockets - like a mail bag with pockets that you can hang on a fish hook. A lot of people have been able to find these at the dollar stores. However, I've been to 4 different ones and couldn't find one, so I am going to make my own from a couple of 6" canvas bags I found at Michaels in lime-green. We'll attach one on top of the other, and decorate them.

Ok, I'm starting to get the picture.....I think. This may be like trying to understand the pirate thing way back when....it may be a sloooooow process. As I understand it at this point,it's nothing that I have to make?? I extend it by adding photos or banners?

Welcome back Helen! The dogs look beautiful. How is your back doing?

Today -

I have my papillon "Sasha" for a little over a year and she is 1 1/2 yrs. old. Training still in progress. We are getting there but slowly. I wish she did not shed also. She is small though - only 10 lbs. and mostly white (sable on face and back near tail.

My ds's girlfriend went into a pet store two nights ago and fell in love with a cocker spaniel and purchased her. She is only three months. Guess who is watching her today while her and my ds are at work til 6 pm? Since she wanted the puppy, she is trying not to leave her home w/her parents or grandparents (rents) too much.

Do I really need this? She is adorable but it's just beginning to get easier with mine and now I am babysitting - they have way too much energy for me.

Anna--it is too bad we don't live closer, we could add our Jasmine to the mix and it would be dog crazy!!

Ok quick update on yesterdays swim meet. Josh scored 3 PB's out of 5 races. As a bit of an incentive I give him £1 for every second of PB he gets at each meet....so last night cost me £8 of PB money. WTG Josh

On a side note - this always happens to me - we were coming back from lunch when we saw a warehouse sale on luggage. Anybody heard of the Ricardo's of Beverly Hills?

As a matter of fact that is the brand of luggage we have and it has really held up well through many trips with the airlines tossing it around!

WOW....I feel like a Princess....a visit from the one and only Tag Fairy...I'm speechless.....well not quite. I am somewhat clueless however....only on some issues though....I can only remember two of my tags at the moment.
They were ' Johnny's my next husband' and ' now explain this pirate thing again to me....slowly.'
If anyone wrote down the tags, help me out. I'm an overworked woman with hot flashes and a teen age son who is barely civilized....need I say more.

Have fun at Mary Poppins! Do you ever eat at John's Pizzeria? It's our favorite place to eat before or after a B'way show -- it's on 44th across from the Majestic and has delicious brick oven pizzas. We were just there yesterday before seeing Spring Awakening for the 4th time (with my 15 year old, who is a huge fan of the show, and her 16 year old male friend).

Yes Julie- We also love John's!!!! small world!!! We are eating at Carmine's, which everyone raves about- so we are finally trying it! My brother is seeing Spring Awa. next week- I guess you loved it since its your 4th time!!!!!!! It is appropriate for my almost 13 year old DD??

Morning, everyone,

Yesterday, Kelly & I went to a farewell dinner for the nearby Catholic school principal. Kelly was one of the servers, and I was just another attendee. Sr. Ann had served the school for 33 years, and the Sisters of Providence had been involved in the school for over 65 years. With the retirement of Sister Ann, there will be no more Sisters of Providence at the school. There were a lot of alumni in attendance, and it was heartwarming to see how many people the sisters have touched over the years. Sister Ann was instrumental in helping me (in her quiet way) with my faith, and also with my kids when I had them at the school, so I will always will be grateful to her (and I am just one person - she has been there for many). Well, that was my yesterday, and wanted to give a little tribute to Sister Ann.

Hi MaryJo- I went to catholic school up until 10th grade ( then we moved to Long Island from Brooklyn) and I loved almost all of the nuns that taught me. I have such wonderful memories, and I still see my close friends from 2nd grade!!! I wish my daughter had the same wonderful experiences I had attending catholic school, but she does go to public school as we live in an affluent area with very high taxes, and I was not impressed by the catholic school in our neighborhood. I could not see paying these ridiculous taxes, and the paying tuition on top of that if I was totally happy with the school. There are no nuns except for the CCD teacher. I know I am a better person for my Catholic education, so Im trying hard to give her the same religious education in this very fast world we live in. Its scary raising a tween today- especially when you are somewhat old fashioned and feel this world is out of control. I will light a candle for Sister Ann -

We have Cayman Islands passports and have just received British passports, what is required to enter Spain and Italy on a British passport? My husband says that's all we need I just want to make sure.

We're seeing MP on July 14th with our DISfriends from the 2005 West Coast trip! We'll have to check out John's Pizzaria....sounds great! What is Spring Awakening about? It won a lot of Tonys!
