Need help from all the teachers.

Tomorrow is the last day of school, and I can't believe that this year I haven't made anything for the two teachers. usually I make something personal or fun. Examples - Bought some pencil holders and decorated them in fabric that matched their personality. Got photos from all the kids and made a photobook online at Kodak.com. Had the kids make a wicker basket. had the kids make candles for the baskets.

So......

i need some ideas. And i need to be able to buy whatever it is tonight!!

Yeah - wow - i didn't even see that at first. I wasn't lurking either. I have this wireless card for work, and an adapter for my notebook that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I had just got it all together and vpn'd in.

All i could think was - i need to get ideas, after practice I need to run to Target or Walmart to buy gifts.

BTW - i need ideas of what NOT to buy too. I mean, i know not to buy a mug. At this point they have enough 'World's greatest teacher' mugs.

For all the DVC members, did you check out the Animal Kingdom Villas promos that came out recently?

I was showing them to DH last night. Although it will be a few years before they are 100%, they look really cool. We belong to Saratoga Springs, but I've always said that when we finally take that first trip to DW, I want to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge over looking the Savanah. We were going to go this year, but then the cruise came up and we opted for that instead.

great minds think alike. gift cards are good. you could do one for movie tickets, a restaurant, or target.

Sorry about the summaries 1am here so not tonight hopefully I can catch up tomorrow, today was work. Lots of family stuff going on my brother's wife's mother died yesterday and I was with my mum because her brother had been taken to hospital and it would have been too long a drive for my step father to have taken her to the hospital on the Isle of Wight, so lots of taxiing people around and saying comforting stuff.
I see there has been all sorts of Pirate shenanagins whilst I've been away. Play nicely tonight everyone.

I guess so. She's a newlywed, so I'm sure that would help. As for the other teacher...We have a tradition of getting our oldest son's teachers gift cards. Sorta a way to 'pay them back' for all they put up with during the year. Having a kid like him in a class is quite the challenge. At least I can say it has opened up their eyes, and they are incorporating more Autistic kids in regular ed classrooms.

We are also DVC members and own at OKW and BCV. We have only stayed at OKW and BWVs. I can't wait to try them all. My dd and I are going to WDW at the Wide World of Sports - my dd has a track meet there AAU Nationals something. We will be there the first week of July. I tried to get something for any dvc resort - but being it's a holiday week - nothing was available. I think we will book the CBR. (They have rooms blocked here and the All Star Sports at a discounted price).

I was looking at the packing list here - I don't even want to think about it -

I want to congratulate everyone who has reached pirates. When is Andrew back btw?
