I was noticing that too - I'm just hanging out at home - waiting for the hot tub, doing laundry and trying to get my life in order - that always takes a good part of my day.:rotfl2:
I meant on the ship!!!!

I meant on the ship!!!!

I was refering to the posting at work - I didn't think that you getting too tired, missing anything and eatting too much at work - but then again, I don't know you that well :rotfl2:

Yes!! I am at work.. Thursdays my kids have computers backed to lunch which is why I can post... great observation skills!!!!:cool1: :cool1:

New reality show tonight called PIRATE MASTERS!!Do you think that is where Helen and Andrew really are????I will be watching !!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Put us in your lists:

Kidcoos3 Bozeman, MT
Leslie 44 Traveling with DH Tom 44, DD Katie 16, DS Andy 13 DS Cole 12
Cabins 2136 and 2139
2nd dinner seating
2nd DCL cruise
Right inbetween celebrations - DD 16 on 6/20; DS 14 on 10/20 and DS 13 on 6/25; 19th Anniversary on 6/11 - and we're celebrating that we're going to Europe!!

Has your DD been to the tween site? My DD (who will be 16 in Sept) has been bummed because she claims "there isn't anybody my age" on it.

Here's a trick for postcards home...

At about $2.25 + connect time, it's a bit pricier than just dropping a postcard in a mailbox (which is, say .6 Euros from Italy), but if you have a laptop and are willing to brave the slow connection speeds, you can create a postcard online at usps.gov and they'll print and mail it for you. What's cool about this is you can use pictures you take on the cruise to create individual postcards.

For just sending pictures, there are services like shutterfly.com where they'll print and ship prints anywhere for a pretty reasonable price. I plan on using these as my mom doesn't believe in Email :confused3

Great idea. The USPS option is also great low-cost option if you have a small business and want to mail to customer database.

We may need to start our own Disney University. :teacher:

I earned my "Ductorate" degree from DU while working at WDW in college!

Ooh, I'm glad you reminded me. I'll have to TiVo it. We have dress rehearsal for the girls' recital Fri/Sat.

Related to Pirate night I'm working on calendar for the family to figure outfits. Are there any addtl "theme" nights, or just formal? And what nights are formal (I cannot find that post either).

Andrew has some stuff posted on page 1. But I can't find the posts fromthe May 26th cruiser that spell out what party is what nites, etc.

I didn't tell Katie about it because of the ages of kids - does your daughter play fastpitch? I know it's big in Oklahoma. My DD does.

Katie swears she will spend the whole time at the pool working on her tan - the thought of being away from her true love (gag me smiley) for a month is more than she can bear (double gag me smiley). But, if she meets some kids I'm sure she'll have a great time.

Maybe we can get them together.

She played softball up until a few year ago, but gave it up for dance. Now she does track (and says she'll do cross country this fall ... we'll see) :rotfl2:
I can send you her MySpace account to give to your DD if you want.

thanks - I wondered what that was for.

OH, it's so fun to be a dork on these sites - no one knows me - but it will be embarrassing when we actually meet, oy veh!

I know what you mean.

Does anyone else think it's funny that Sallie and I are posting while at work?? Really guys, it's lunchtime for me!!:rolleyes1

I'm at work too. Just in between meetings.
FYI - My very large :tinker: mug holds 1/2 a pot of coffee.

I was noticing that too - I'm just hanging out at home - waiting for the hot tub, doing laundry and trying to get my life in order - that always takes a good part of my day.:rotfl2:

Just thinking of a hot tub - :cloud9:

It would be funny if it was where they were. I could see it, it would come down to just the two of them.

Super. Thanks. I'm really resisting the urge to overpack. Julie, Andrew and a few others have been in the thick of a hot discussion over the topic of what to bring on another thread. I hate the idea of renting a tux and shoes for $100 when I have my own. On the other hand I'd prefer not to lug it to Europe for one night (or do men also wear tuxes on semi nights?).

Sorry, should have multiquoted these last posts. I'm a poor wanna-be pirate:

That would be great - send me a pm

Sorry, should have multiquoted these last posts. I'm a poor wanna-be pirate:

My husband and sons are just bringing jackets - khakis, button down and tie for formal; polo/or ss shirt, khakis and jacket for semi - that'll be enough for them.

Doing individual posts ups your post count and brings us closer to another pirate:

Nicely done!! Thank you!

Hi all,

Checking in on my lunch hour - you guys have been busy!

I have a calendar that I'm building & will probably post in our stateroom so the kids & I can kind of keep calibrated. It's in Powerpoint if anyone would like a copy for your own.

Mary Jo - I'd love a copy of that - then can I make changes to it for our family? As long as I have and can use powerpoint?

Mary Jo,
Yes, please post the file for us to modify. I'll also send updated cabin info for us once it's been settled. I checked today and still on GTY status among DDoz (Dirty Dozen Cat 12).
