Our dollar store had Winnie the Pooh and Dora the Explorer.....they were $2.99 each. My DD11 said I thought they would be $1??

I have my new kittens-!! They are lilac point traditional siamese kittens like my other one. Traditional meaning they do not have that long pointed face people usually associate with siamese cats- this breed has a round face. They are soo cute.. I hope to post a pic tomorrow.
They are very active and getting into everything already. Cleo does not seem too thrilled to have them around- she will not even step foot in the same room with them- I hope she comes around. She is still wandering looking for her sister, although, I think she is starting to understand that Chloe is no longer with us.

We have not settled on a name , although I am pretty sure they will be- Isabella (Izzy) and Mia- I know these were not even choices before, but for some reason those names just came to me after playing with them for a day. Pixie dust had a great suggestion- Magic and Wonder- love it- so I am still thinking

"I can anwer this one since we just got off the ship last Saturday. Yes. You can exchange US for Euros. However, the lines got pretty long at guest services. We exchanged our money at the airport. That worked great and there were no lines."

Capital One is the only bank I know of that issues credit cards that have no foreign exchange fees. Most cards tack on another 3% or more, plus charge the same absurd retail rate as currency exchange places. Capital One has no fees and uses a very generous exchange rate.

For example: I recently ordered some show tickets for our London stay after the cruise. Wholesale rate (what you see in the papers) was $1.98 per Pound. Retail (what the bank would charge for currency) was about $2.07. Capital One converted at $2.01 - with no other fees.

Sallie, I would love to say that I will join you for those early morning walks on the boat, and I know my dh would get a huge laugh out of that because right now I am a real late sleeper; however, I want all of that to change and the sea air makes you feel so good! Right now I am planning on setting an alarm clock to get in condition for vacation! I am going to say that I would like to plan on joining you for those walks!

My dh has been a high school band director for many years and I have been school secretary and most recently executive secretary to the county Vocational Director whose office is in the high school. You never knew when you would end up in the classroom, as any school secretary can attest. I greatly admire all of our teachers, and do prefer my job to their job although I love the students, I like them better in the office! Our students last day of school is this Thursday. Most of this week will be fun time for the elementary students and the high school has already had graduation.

Count us in. We usually walk the promenade deck early in the AM.

i might be up for an early walk able on sea days or the days i don't have an excursion. i chose morning excursions so that my mom can get back to the ship for lunch and then we can wander around on our own in the afternoon.
