I'm hoping to get away with three (maybe four) suitcases. With the small FE list, I think I might manage it.

We'll see. We are packing today. The movers come Monday. So need to have all our cruise suitcases done before they get here so nothing accidently gets put in a box. We won't see that stuff until September!

Just found out our rooms onboard and we are on Deck Two while Brack & Jen are on Deck 6! Dreams Unlimited says that the ship is fully booked so we can not be together.

Brack, what cat are you? We have 2 cabins on deck 6 and one GTY was just assigned to deck 2. All are cat 11. We also have DU and could see if they could switch your deck 6 with our deck 2. That would put you all on 2 and us all on 6. Let me know.

Spent most of today and part of yesterday looking for a room in Vancouver for Sunday and Monday before the cruise. Trying to be cheap ($100 or less) without staying in a "less than desirable" place. There are still possibilities and even thought of the Club Interwest at 28 points a night plus the $95 exchange.

Just dropping by to say hello and that we are still with you. Have been extremely busy at work with our yearend audit, final budget submission and all of the yearend activities for our girls. I put the Club Interwest idea away! It really didn't make sense for just two days.

I did book the River Rock Casino Resort on Hotwire for $85 plus tax/fees. A great price for a really nice suite and the property is right on the new Canada Line which goes directly to the port. The bad news is that when I tried to book the second for us the site wouldn't let us for less than $183! Still working on it though.

We ordered some Canadian dollars through AAA, they came today. We have $200. in a 10, two 20s and three 50s. Mostly for tips and small purchases. Just have to cash in a @20 for some loonies and toonies.

I hadn't thought of needing Canadian Dollars. My plan is to use "plastic" for most of our purchases but tips and small items (drinks, snacks stc) would need a little cash.

We're spending two and a half days in Vancouver so we'll need some cash. It looks like we'll be riding the light rail and bus system some so maybe I'll get about $50. I will wait a couple of days to look at the exchange rate though. Right now it is close to even dollar for dollar with the Canadian doing a little better but it has been swinging in both directions in recent weeks.
