July 2020 TRIP REPORT THREAD !!!

...I don't understand why they would keep some loops closed, but not space people in the ones that are open. That doesn't make sense, but many things don't ....
Minimizing the effort/manpower (womanpower) to turn around a campsite. Less maintenance, trash removal and cleaning if whole loops are not being used. Less than full capacity required by state/county rules, easier to control the bookings if whole loops are unavailable. If you're allowed half capacity, half the loops are closed. (Simplistic view/example).

We’ve been wondering about the comfort stations status as well.

So what's it like?

Are they limited people in the comfort station? Or are the comfort stations even open?
Are they filling all the sites in a loop, or skipping them to leave space between people?
Are all the rides pretty much walk-on?
How are they handling bus and boat transportation? Skipping seats or what?

Thanks in advance for any answers you can give!

We also have a stay in mid-August but I think I might cancel it. I was hoping that we would have some reports from people there about how the mask wearing was going, enforcement on the site, on golf carts, pool deck, how bathrooms were but it seems none of "us" are there. We weren't going to do any parks so the lack of fireworks from the beach, social distancing, no sing along just makes me sad. We have New Year's reservations, and Spring Break next year to look forward to.

I hate to be traitorous but does anyone know any other sites that might have on the ground reports from the campground? I friend mentioned she read some things but I forgot to ask her where. Before I cancel, I'd like to read about it.
This video is from campers in the campground this month. (I'm not related to or friends with this couple and am not trying to promote their channel)~

Thanks for all the info. I have to admit I am impressed with all the things they are doing at the Fort. But still so sad that my favorite place in the world is so changed.

I always have issue with photo size when trying to add images, so this is a test.
