So DD turns nine on our first full DLR day and being the WDW veteran that she is, she asked to eat with the princesses.
We decided to do lunch at Ariel's Grotto. Then I saw the menu.

There's nothing on there my finicky eaters would order (I showed the kids the options and asked which they would choose and they both said "none") so DH suggested we do breakfast.
I hated this idea. We are (by and large) cereal eaters and I...
a) didn't want to spend the money on breakfast
b) didn't want to lose precious park time that early in the day
So, I tried to get out of it! I knew I'd have to offer up something good though and she's already done BBB so I didn't want to go that route again. I did a bit of research and then...I had it!
I offered her a birthday bucket at a different restaurant for lunch, suggested she let me buy her a new autograph book and we do the character meet and greets over the three days we're in the parks. I also sweetened the deal by reminding her that we could afford to do a TS lunch in the park AND hit the Rainforest Cafe for dinner for the same money.
She went for it!!

Actually I had her at birthday bucket!
Now we just need to ensure we get our ADR's (or whatever the
Disneyland equivilant is called) and we're all set!
So we're going to save quite a bit of cash but still have tons of fun.
