Question of the day...

Water Parks or no water parks?

this is the first time for my DD7 to go to a water park at Disney. We're planning on TL on Wednesday EMH until noon-ish. May go back in the later part of the day if she really likes it.

She just learned to swim in the spring and really wants to try a water park. I think I may put her in a life jacket in the beginning, just to see how she does.

Last time we went to the water parks was in 2002. We will not be going to the water parks again this year as we plan to spend a resort day at the pools and lazy rivers at Bonnet Creek.

Sounds like all of you at Disney right now are having a great time. Hey guess what WE ARE IN SINGLE DIGITS!!! 9 MORE DAYS!!!!!

I promised my boss today I would have all of my work completed prior to leaving! I have been so busy at this new job much quicker start in this position than was expected! I am not complaining as I am thrilled it is working out so well!

July 20th - We communicated with Mousemommy late last night and looks like we will be at HS the same time. I am hoping we will be fortunate to meet them today. I will take my phone today to communicate with Mousemommy.

July 20th - Hollywood Studio

Midori and I went to Hollywood Studio today. Arrived at the gate at 8:45 AM and they were letting everyone in early. Walked over to T of Terrors and got a fast pass for later and rode the ride. Then, walked over to RRC and rode it. Went over to T of Terrors and cashed in on the fast pass and then went to RRC to get a fast pass for later. After the back and forth from T. of T. and RRC we went to Starwars and Muppets. We went to the Toy Story Pizza Planet. Midori ate Pepperoni Pizza and I had a Meatball Sub. Went to RRC and rode it one more time and then left the park at 1:00 PM. We are at the Resort resting now. Don'tknow if we will go back to H.S. or go back to DTD for the night.

Unfortunately, we did not run into Mousemommy. Missed then again.

My first DISmeet last night! Bob and Midori, it was so nice to meet you! I wish we could've chatted longer, but we barely made it over to MK in time for the parade. Thank you for getting in touch with us, and I hope you have a great rest of your vacation

Trying to figure out posting from the Dis App, really liking it!

Car is packed! Gave up washing it. The rain seems to never stop here anymore. I feel like I live in Seattle just with strong storms instead of drizzle. If DH gets off early tomorrow, we will hit the road then. If not, we will leave a out 3am fri/sat night. We still have no idea where we are staying Sat night. DH doesn't want to prepay for a room if we can't make it there. So we will either be adding a room to AKL mid drive or we will wing it with a outside hotel. But in any case, we will be on the road within 15-30 hours!!!!

I hope you have a safe trip. Maybe we will see each other here. It's been hot but beautiful!

We are on the road! DH got off early so when he got home we jumped in the car and headed out. We are somewhere around Statesville NC. We are hoping to make it to Savannah GA tonight.

Evening of July 20th DTD


Midori and I took the boat to DTD. Did some more shopping at the World of Disney, Goofy Candy Store and then took the bus back to the resort. Midori and I are eating from the food court. We are going to the “Sit around the fire/ sing along” behind Building 6 and then walk over to the Movie area and finish out the night watching Toy Story.

Thanks! I have been following your reports each day sounds like you and Midori are having a wonderful time!

Tomorrow I am getting the suitcases out and checking out clothing that I will be taking with us to begin packing. Tyler is at his dad's this weekned so he will have to begin his packing on Monday.. however knowing a teenager like him he will probably wait until later in the week then wonder why he doesn't have clean clothes to take! LOL.. Dang mom that always seems to take care of him...! (ummm me) However he plans to pack himself this year, and I can bet he will have some questions and if he doesn't I am at least going to check to make sure he has the essentials packed!

Our kids hit tired mode today. We went to Blizzard Beach after a great breakfast at Ohana. The kids had fun riding the water slides and tube slides. We headed back after lunch. I sort of lost the desire to stay longer after we came back to our seating area and found a BTG of girls that had taken over our area and moved our things. Have never had a nasty exchange before I was none to happy. Moved our stuff and went to have lunch and then left shortly after. Decided to come back to the hotel and go in the pool. We just relaxed the rest of the day. The kids did activities around the resort and we ate dinner at Boma instead of our original plan of DTD. Hopefully tomorrow after more rest, they will be more agreeable. Tomorrow is EMH at HS so we are headed there. Then, AK in the PM. My mom is flying in tomorrow night for the remainder of our trip which the kids have no clue about so hopefully that will be a big suprise for them. Off to relax.

July 21st Orlando Airport


Midori and I will get up at 3:00 AM and get ready. Walk over to the ME pick up area to board the bus to the airport at 5:15 AM. Our flight back home to DFW will depart at 8:15 AM.


To all Diser's sharing our day to day excitement prior to leaving home and during our WDW Vacation. I appreciate your support and following our daily trip report.
