July 2011

I love the update..how fun for him to get a haircut there!!!
I will PM you our plans in a day or two!!! We are getting cloooooose!!!

*Looks at her ticker and shrieks with joy*
Wonderful update as always, and I'm that much more excited! Bags are packed and ready to go. Since I'll be away for awhile hope you have a Happy Halloween Emma!

I have been the lone voice calling for us to try LTT. My family thinks it's pretty much like Thanksgiving food, but we don't know that for sure. (In any case, I love Thanksgiving food!) They have agreed to try it for lunch, swapping a family-tradition of lunch at Pecos Bills or CHH. So, is the lunch a good representative of dinner? (You know, like Biergarten...where only the sauerbraten is missing...)

Second question: You mentioned you worked at PB's for someone else. Does Disney let you "try on" other jobs? I have never heard of anything like that. That would be very cool.

TIA for your response.:thumbsup2

Oops. Didn't mean to miss so much!!

Haha Pret a Manger and Marks and Spencer, love it!! Love those stores and I love that you know what they are. They've just opened a Pret in NYC, maybe it'll make it's way down to you at some point?!!

Oooh fastpast man at Jungle Cruise?! Such a great idea, if you'd have had a better skipper then everyone would have been laughing and those photos would have been amazing! Glad your family looked good though! :)

That food looks amazing, it's definitely on my list of places to visit :) Yummy!

Ps I used to play ski resort tycoon too! Loved those building games! I think I played Zoo Tycoon as well hahaha. :rotfl:

Great update. I love the MK and I bet it would be so cool to stay at a resort that is right there at it. Maybe some day.

It turns out we are going to Disney World Dec. 12-18. When it gets closer I would love to know if you are working somewhere that I would be able to meet you.

Been lurking on several reports but the visit to main street barbershop got me to comment, it is the best kept secret at disney, my nephew, who is 3 has had ALL of his haircuts there, right from the first one. when his grandpa said his hair was getting long he said "OKAY! let's go to Disney."

Started reading your TR 'cause I loved the title. Read pages 1-15 and saw your good news - Congrats !
Now I must sleep and finish your TR in the am.

I love LTT for lunch and you ordered my perfect meal! YUMMY. Sorry you had to rush through everything. That's no fun!

That photo of the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake was amazing!! The ultimate Disney dessert. Looking forward to your next update!

AT least Athos let the barber shop put the pixie dust in his hair! My middle son, who was maybe 17 at the time, wanted to get his head shaved at the Barber shop. I said he could, BUT he had to have a Mickey painted on his head and pixie dust. :thumbsup2 He agreed, but once his head was shaved and the gal asked if he wanted the Mickey or the pixie dust he said no. :headache:

My oldest son is now following your blog. I think he goes by Seanzy on there. We are sending him down at the end of January for a college graduation trip. Right now he is at Beach Club and OKW. I have him waitlisted for Boardwalk.

I am finally getting back to check out your pics and I have to say that my favorite is Ariel on the Nile! I love that one.

My second favorites are the food pics from LTT. You ordered exactly what I will be eating in December. Yum

Wonderful pictures as always!!!!!

Your love for the Poly is so contagious I just can't stop reading! Its making me want to stay there so badly! Next trip we are definitely spending some time there. We probably won't be staying there since its not DVC. But we will eat there, shop there, and enjoy the EWP and fireworks there!

That Peanut Butter mousse looks so good, yum! Too funny about the marshmallow roast. What a beautiful evening, and of course I love your hammock pictures.
I have not read your blog in a while, so not sure if you discuss DTD treats. You mentioned running out of cupcakes to try, this is not a cupcake suggestion, but there are a lot of good treats at Goofy's in DTD. My favorites are a chocolate dipped rice crispie treat with mini M&M's and pretzel rods. They used to have really good cookies, german chocolate or carrot cake cookies, but I think I read that they are not available anymore.
Had a little fun last Sunday morning visiting the American Girl store in Downtown Chicago. We arrived at the Disney Store before opening, so wandered down to the Watertower shops. We were happy to see AG open. Not crowded at all. It is such a cute store. Right outside the 2nd level is a Lego Store, with really cute displays. Have you ever been on Michigan Ave to shop?

Yummy food choices at the concierge lounge. That mouse looks so good. :thumbsup2

You have taken relaxation at the Poly to a new art. I love the pictures from your hammock and the twilight poly pics.

Lurkyloo on disney TV - very cool! :goodvibes

I'll be over to see you soon :goodvibes

I want to see the EWP never seen it before. I have to much planned.. I'm buying my momma rollerskates so she can keep up! :rotfl:
