July 2011 code watch?

In 2010 I did not get a pin for June until February 23rd. The July hours posted last week. The 180 plus ten window for July is opened up for most of the month. Best of all, when on the phone with Disney last week, the CM said summer discounts were coming

Agreed. This is what I remember from last year; we had to wait until February but we did indeed get a discount for July. I'm hoping for some pixie dust and that the CM you talked to is correct!

We booked 7/9 in a wilderness cabin before we move to BWV. I got at least a AAA rate for the one night.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I received a post card in the mail today with a pin code, 35% off mods and 40% off deluxe but sadly not for July. 5/31-6/4 then again 8/21-10/8. They skipped right over July so it doesn't look too good for a code coming out. Here's a little pixie dust that something else will come out soon for all those waiting.

I think the AP rates for July didn't come out until the end of March last year.

Still plenty of time - don't panic!!!!

I looked up my resesrvations from 2010. My daughter and I went July 22nd thru July 29th and we stayed at CBR. I booked that trip March 26th and could have either received 30% off on my moderate room at CBR or I could have received free Quick service dining. We chose the free Quick Service Dining and upgraded to the Regular Dining Service. Our trip was not planned last year, we went just because the deals were good. This year we really want to go again in July so patiently waiting for the deals.

We are going July 31 - August 5th. My elderly parents are coming with us. We have 7 people in our group. Keep gettting postcards and emails with pins, but they exclude July and early August. We can't change our dates because we are there for a conference. Thinking about staying offsite at Bonnet Creek since there are no deals for early August. It is my parent's first time to Disney so wanted to give them the on-site experience. Is it normal for Disney to exclude prime summer weeks? Is there a chance that they will come out with additional discounts for July and early August?

We ended up booking Bonnet Creek in July for this reason, just couldn't justify rack rate Disney prices in July.
