I customized my touring plans yesterday! I started with Ridemax, adding in the mealtimes and shows that we wanted to see, then added in our Magic Morning/DCA early entry plans, factored in the varying ride likes and dislikes of our party, amped up the Fastpass collection... and now we're ready to go!

Too bad we have 10 more days before we leave...

Us too! But, I'm still laid up with my injured ankle. So, I haven't done anything yet to prep for the trip. ARGH!

We are sup rising the kids with their first trip! It will be DH's first time also, I have been to DL and WDW. Can barely contain myself!

Ohhhh, I remember being that excited and not being able to share it!!! We didn't tell our kids when we went for our first ever DL trip last November. It was soooo hard to keep it a secret But we didn't tell them until the day we left. I could barely sit through half a days work that day. My stomach was in knots and I felt sick right until we left! It was our first trip travelling outside of Canada too so we were a little anxious!
Have a wonderful trip! I'm sure your kids (and you) will love every minute of it! Meanwhile, keep lurking on the DIS, it helps to have a secret disney family who knows what your going through!!

That's the main reason I'm on this site! Only 3 people know because I'm scared someone will spill the beans! DS is 5 and DD is almost 3, they just know we have a vacation coming up and that's it. This will be their first time on a plane so I'm getting busy bags together for them and trying to decide how and when we will tell them. We think we will wait until we pull up to DL or the morning when we leave the hotel.
They don't know yet but they helped me pick out supplies to make their character autograph books today!

I've been thinking about you and wondering how you were doing. Just rest your foot and have your minions do your bidding. You do have minions, don't you.

DS just had to have a small surgical proceedure today on his foot to fix an ingrown toe nail and we are hoping he has enough time for it to heal before we go. And oh yeah, online the bank seems to have "lost" a large sum of money. And since we discovered this after hours we have to wait until tomorrow morning to take care of it.

We are leaving in 9 days! I have five days of work left. I have been working my rear off this month and I am so exhausted I haven't even been able to work out. I am sooooo ready for this trip.

Oh my goodness! I hope it gets resolved right away! That would do terrible things to my blood pressure.

I just looked at the 10 day forcast for Anaheim and it has it in the mid 70s the first part of next week!

PinkBudgie, I hope they find your money, and your DS recovers enough to enjoy DL as much as possible. What bad timing to have all this happen right before a DL trip.

Oh man, I hope your DS recovers quickly!! We called the CCI and requested a bottom floor room. Maybe that would be helpful for ya'll, too.

Glad to hear your doing better.

By some good planning we have modified our San Diego trip to include Disneyland weekends on both ends now, not just the back.

So we will still be there 15-19, but also 9-10th including a night at the Disneyland Hotel! we are soooo excited, just moved up our trip by a week at basically zero cost!
