We are going from 7/10 to 7/14.

We will be staying at Candy Cane Inn.

First trip to DisneyLand. Our only trip to DisneyWorld was July 2005.
We're excited!

I was going to mention that there was another DIS'er at CCI for a trip starting on the10th. There are 4 DIS'ers after the 10th at CCI so far. You guys should really get together for breakfast or something.

We're in April and then it's just May and June.

Looking at it like that makes it seem closer. Double digits, though.

Although I'm lucky enough to get a Disney fix in June, I'm going to Vegas to see The Lion King.

I had a bit of luck today. A good friend is taking her daughter (16) and her friends to DL tomorrow. She asked me to go with her to keep her company. I replied, "What time do you want me at your house?" She laughed. So I have an unexpected day trip to DL I just love the way things turn out.

How cool! How far of a drive is that for you?

With no traffic, an hour and a half. The problem is if you want to get to DL before the 8am opening, we would have to leave at 5:30am to beat the morning traffic (we have to go through or by downtown LA). So we are leaving at 8:30am and will probably arrive around 10:15 or so. I got an Android phone that has a wonderful navigation app. When selecting Disneyland, it will tell me the best route, factoring traffic and the estimated time of arrival. But it doesn't matter what time I go, I'm going t Disneyland and I am excited.
