I've been checking the weather, and right now, the only day I'm concerned with is Thursday (& maybe Friday). Although accuweather and weather.com seem to have different thing going on...I'm hopeful that accuweather is more accurate because every day when I check it seems to change...for the better.

RHMH here - What a small world, I broke a tooth during the July 4th Holiday and had to get a root canal yesterday. The tooth does not hurt anymore BUT the area around it is really painfull. My DD 11 told me to get it fixed before our vacation so I would not be GRUMPY during our vacation.

Hope your tooth is ok now.

Spooky!! Thanks for your concern, it's still fine. It is a tooth that has a filling in it but it is the side bit of the tooth that has broken off, it's probably a tiny bit but feels huge!! Couldn't get a dentist appointment today, will try again tomorrow but if not I suspect it'll be fine, hope so anyway!!

OK so I STILL can't figure out how to quote more than one post at a time!! But update is that tickets are with our TA so will get them in the morning! Phew!!

Oh and I may re-evaluate the "something from home" if you ACTUALLY want tartan - lol!! I have time to myself tomorrow, hubby at work and DS at nursery (or daycare to you guys) - I should hopefully have some browsing time!

Why is it some men do not understand that planning for Disney is not like planning for oh I don't know.....Seattle? You can't just book the hotel and be done with it! There are outfit changes on sweltering, raining days! There are trinkets that must be packed, and items that they will never think of (Poncho's, bug spray, tums!)

LOL this made me laugh - Disney and Seattle are the only two places in the states I go regularly (one of my best friends from Scotland lives near Seattle) and I find packing for Disney MUCH easier as I always go in summer, so I know I need cool, casual clothes and loads of high factor suncream. Whereas Seattle I go other times of year, never know what the weather is going to be like, need to take my gym gear as my friend out there works in a gym, need going out clothes as we'll often have a night or two out!! haha!!

But I know what you meant, just doesn't work that way for me!!

I just requested to join the FB group.

We leave on Saturday! We are SO excited!
We have our driver coming to pick us up at 4:15 AM to take us to the airport! It is very early, but our flight leaves at 6:55 AM and we live about 25 minutes away.

3 days from now I'll be in the world!!!!

This is Primanti's famous sandwich. Whatever you'd like meat-wise (check out the menu for choices) with fries and cole slaw.

Delicious. We're lucky enough in my town to have a restaurant started by Primanti vetrans called Steel City Samiches. As close as you get to a real Primanti's.

We are headed to Florida on July 15. We will be staying at Animal Kingdom Kidani Village until July 22. Glad to meet you all!

How are you keeping that much Primanti's in your fridge and not eating it??? I'll take a corned beef. We'll do our best to stop by. Who knows, if DD (and DW for that matter) are feeling good that day, maybe we'll stroll over at 4:00. Thanks for the invite.

Hi all!

I just noticed this thread! I'll be doing my third solo trip from July 14th - 21st! I'm staying at a friends condo while I'm there.

So excited!

, they treated me like I was a hypochondriact mom who had no clue what she was talking about (which is why I think they told me it was Viral Pink Eye) She woke up this morning with a cough and I got angry and called her PCM for a referal to an urgent care clinic not far from my mom's house. As soon as that comes through, I'm going to take her in. The saltwater is helping with keeping it at bay when she's not napping but when she goes to sleep she wakes up with sticky eyes.

I would be mad too. I hope you are able to get a prescription to clear everything up.

Thanks so much - ran out of pain medicine today and now living off of Tylenol, not as good but takes the edge off. Need to pain free by Saturday morning's flight. DD11 said, I do not need to hear you cry about pain during the vacation. Call the Doctor and get more...I said ok - I'll call him tomorrow morning.

Ohhh...I like planning dining, too. We have about the same amount of ADRs, plus the Wishes Dessert Party.

anyone concerned about the long range weather forecast for next week? I know a bunch of you will be there the same days as we will (July 12-19) and the forecast is calling for rain. Not just the usual Florida pop up thunderstorms, but steady rain. Thoughts?

I've noticed that those 2 are different as well. My DH is checking some place and it says sun and high in the high 80's to low 90's.

My dd was so excited when she came home last night and saw we had the suitcases partially packed She's now going through her stuff and packing what she wants to take. This will be fun, because we'll have to sit down with her and her 25 different little bags that she's stuffed FULL of stuff she HAS to bring with her, and try to talk her out of 99% of it. Aren't little girls FUN???
