Can we get a AK meet on 6th roll call? I'm coming, it will be me, DH, and our two girls, 11 and 4. If all goes according to plan, they'll be in lime green dresses with black Mickey heads. My name is Taryn (Karen with a T) , by the way! Can't wait to see you there. How close to entrance are we meeting?

I am going to be there with my dd (age 14). I am Amy, by the way (hi) and my daughter is Delaney. I'm not sure what we will be wearing that day but I'll have a lime green Mickey head or two on my backpack.

Only 3 more days!!! We are driving down on Saturday and staying in Kissimmee Saturday night before checking in at the Pop on Sunday. Cannot wait!!! Hope to see yall there.

For the Pop Century people...we are planning to decorate our window so please feel free to say "hello". The more the merrier.

DH found out they are saying it takes 5 days of travel with the weather being like it is for him to get from there to the US That would put him in on the 13th and anything after that could NOT be done because well our flight is at 745 on the 14th! So can you guy's PLEASE send pixie dust that his travel doesn't take more then 3/4 days?

I am sending lots of positive flying vibes and quick return time for him!!!!

Although it should probably be self-explanatory, I had anesthesia today, so what exactly is a pop up cat carrier?

Hope you are recovery nicely. I must have missed it, but what did you have done?

So we are leaving July 12 and I just looked at the extended weather forecast and see that it says RAIN for at least the 12th and 13th. Not those pop up showers so typical of FL, but straight RAIN!!! The only silver lining there is that the parks may be less crowded! The kids won't be happy if it rains though!

Oh and I just went on the Disney Website and although it has all my reservation info and ADRs, it says '56 Days til your vacation". What is going on with the Disney website? For such a prominent, well run organization, their website bites. Some days it has my ressies, other days it doesn't. And apparently the protocol that figures out how many days you have isn't properly functioning!

I wouldn't worry about it. It really is too far to get an accurate forecast.

Oh I forgot to mention but I found perfect (in my opinion) little gifts for the meet up on the 10th!!!!! Of all places, in Cracker Barrel!

I am so excited I am about to burst LOL

my dad and stepmother gave me a Vera Bradley Mini Hipster for my early birthday present! How cool is that?

My daughter, Emma will be 7 years old tomorrow. Can't believe it's been 7 years already! Took her to the mall and the Disney Store tonight since I may have to work late on her actual birthday....she's getting SO excited!!!

I just wanted to pop on real quick before I get uber busy again. Today is my last day of cleaning/moving. My dad is coming up to help us move the last of the misc stuff (like the fold up table I'm using for a desk right now), since our car is rather full.
Still lots of scrubbing to do, but that's okay, we're almost done!!

Not sure if I'll get online tonight, early flight out tomorrow.

The cat's are going as far as my mom's house and then they will be loved on by her and hated by her cats...well except her younger one. He likes to play and her older cat just looks at him like he's sniffed glue I'm glad my mom is buying Gillian a new pair of purple shoes too!

We just found out that my DH has to work Friday and Saturday so we won't be going to St. Louis this weekend. On one hand I'm really bummed but on the other I'm thrilled to have more time to pack and clean before we leave the on the 8th.

Sorry you are missing your St. Louis trip, but you'll be happy packing, not sure about cleaning, but packing makes me happy!

Aww you are sweet! I won't think you're nuts He is sort of getting some rest... it is hot there (like 115-120 degrees!!!) and very windy and sandy. I told him Florida will feel amazing after that heat He had to sleep in a top of a bunk bed last night and said that was an, uh, interesting experience. Hopefully he will sleep on the airplane and be well rested when he gets home!!!!

So leaving tonight will put him home tomorrow? Ugh. I bet that top bunk wasn't very restful at all!

I hope Julie had indoor plans today! Currently, it's 74 at the Orlando airport, and heavy rains this afternoon!!! Hope they clear the area soon! Ugh. Guess I need to check traveling weather on the way down.

This has been the longggessstttt affttteerrrrnooonnnn eeeevvvvvaaaa.... Brad has been asleep since about 1, mom picked the girls up so it would be quiet, and we'll swing by and get them on our way out, I've been "piddlin' " as my Daddy would have said. Got gas, swept, last load of laundry in, need to vacuum but don't want to wake him up until his requested time of 5:30! Going to take a long bath with a book. While he is in the shower, I'll run the vacuum and we'll finish loading everything up. I'll be back, because the next to last thing I do before we leave is say goodbye on dis... It's a tradition! (The last is hug my dogs!)

I've been contemplating not staying the night in a hotel on the drive to my mom's and just driving strait through. I am going to talk to her tonight and see what she thinks. I had a lovely surprise in my mail box today! My WELCOME PACKET finally came! But no DME packet. Oh well, I bought 6 sheets total of duct tape in purple, lime green and camo then I cut Mickey heads out of them and put them all over our bags What are the chances that someone else going to WDW the same date as us coming in around the same time as us will have those tape colors?

Okay, I think I am finally done shopping... I think??? I went out today to get Bobble water bottles (they filter the water and sulfur taste). I wasn't going to buy them, but I am thinking we can cut down on water cost if we use them. Plus, I can use them for water in the room for brushing my teeth. I HATE sulfur water... of course, I'm not sure many people like it. lol.

I got my tip envelopes all together. I printed out some for Mousekeeping as well as tips for dining. I wanted to spread as much magic as possible! I used the designs from the forum and then added stickers for extra "fun."

Tomorrow is laundry day and organizing all that I have bought. Then Saturday we take the dog to "Kennel Kamp." The only thing I hate about vacation is having to leave him behind. He is our baby. Then, we pack on Saturday and drive to Philly to stay overnight for our early flight on Sunday. THEN.... SEE THE MOUSE!

All this planning, and I can't believe that I can now summarize the days before I leave.... ahhhhhhhh..... I can't wait to get there! It's been a rough work year for both DH and I, and we need this break!

I am so sorry At least you will not be worrying while you are gone - she will be frolicking in the fields across the rainbow bridge. There is a really nice website about the rainbow bridge where dogs go when they pass.

I decided to cancel the room in PA and we are going to get up early (Is 3am to early to get on the road?) and drive right on through to my folks house in VA. Got a reply from my TA, she's sending our DME stuff to my mom's house Taking the cat's to the vet in the morning and picking up my DISmeet items then cleaning house but not before I buy some sleeping pills to knonk me out at around 5pm on Sunday

Sorry to hear about your pup. We had to put our boy Maekchu down a few days after his 16th birthday the end of March. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I had no intentions of getting another dog, but my wife had other ideas. I held out for a month, but she finally won out and we got our little Bear.

The good news as far as our trip goes is Bear was a rescue and his foster Mom said she would watch him anytime we need her to. He loves her place and all the dogs, so it should work out great. We always hated leaving our old pup because he hated being boarded.
