Of course she had picked Rapunzel and there is no way she can slip it on over the cast so had to order a sleeveless Tinkerbell. She gets the pins out the day before vacation but will be in a different cast for 2 weeks after that..
Aww... how sweet of you to do that for her. Hoping she handles it all well.
I started talking a 30 min walk in the morning. Might switch to 30 min on the treadmill at the resort. Anyone else planning on TRYING to keep a healthy exercise routine on the trip?
I'm going to air my dirty laundry here. I was running 3-5 miles three times a week and sticking to a strict 1200 calorie diet when we went. I tried to make the healthiest chioces available, sometimes, but we were on the DxDP. I took my running clothes with every intention of running, but, honestly, it was sooo hot, I just couldn't do it, even at 5am. I don't do treadmills. Honestly, I gained 12 pounds!

It was awful! So, if you can fit in something to get your heart rate up, you'll be better off. I tried to justify my walking, and yes, you are moving, but in order to burn calories it has to be faster than park navigating!

That's for sure! Or if you are like me -- you spend YEARS researching your first trip -- you go & then 99% of what you read falls out of your brain & you can't remember anything.
I took so many notes!!!! Then I sent it to my ipod, and DH's, and printed it out... It was so funny!
Hee! It's all been stressful recently, so I try to remember the positive. Like, SEVEN MORE WORK DAYS!

Wow - so soon!!!! If I remember, you drive straight through right? What I do when we drive down is pack a carry on with everyone's clothes and pjs for one night (since we stay over somewhere) and that usually works well. That might work for you for your night at AKL.... When and what time are you leaving? , I am going to bring work out clothes and might add some gym time at the resort.
Yes, we do. We are leaving Thurs. around 7pm or so. We'll have to do some gas stops, but that's it. We have one bag with clothes to put on the girls when we get there, and that night, and then the next morning before we check out and head to BLT. And toiletries, and swim clothes, and...... It gets complicated!!! I am excited, but nervous about forgetting something. We decided that if it's the happiest place on Earth, why do we have to take everything with us from here?????
Flipflopmom... thanks for sharing your story about school. I received my MBA before I had kids and couldn't even think about going back to school now. DH might start working on his masters soon, but in RI luckily it is still not a requirement yet for teachers. However he is still deciding on what. He might do Guidance as he already has a BS in Management and Mathematics.
It's CRAZY!!!!! We don't have it as a requirement either, but I thought it might come, why not do it when it's free. Guidance would be a good thing, anything he can do to add to his list!
It wasn't me looking for the purple shoe (this time! It happens in my house all the time, how hard is it to take 2 shoes off in the same place???) but if I find either of those, I will let you know!!
I'm tired of changing stuff myself. I swore I wasn't going to look at my ADR's until the day I print everything out.
sorry about getting the shoes confused, but there is a lot going on here!

I changed an ADR yesterday. More details to follow...
Well talked to my DH and tonight's flight was cancelled too

Hoping tomorrow works out!
As long as he is home by July 4th we will be ok ... don't want to miss any Disney days!!! And he gets 15 days leave no matter what... so if he comes in late, he stays here later. But I do have things planned for the 5 days he is home before Disney. Anyway, it is what it is and cannot change anything so now just wait and see ....
Sending prayers he gets to leave tomorrow.

Can only imagine how frustrating that must be!
I will be going to check my mail shortly (DIS>Mail) and HOPEFULLY it will be in there Flipflopmom~ I'm the one looking for the purple shoe. I will keep an eye out for a red croc though! I fear I might just end up buying her a new pair of purple shoes at Khols again though (I've even offered my older kid's 2 dollars to who ever find's that shoe!).
I FOUND A BROWN BOOT I couldnt' find this winter. But no red or purple.

Sorry about the mix up! Hope your Mickey mail will be there!
I'm very excited.....I've never saw WDW or anypart of it before....only in pictures. I'm sure you'll feel my spirit as well......BEAMING!!!!!

You will love it!!
Anyone heard anything about crowd levels or temps lately?
Read a post this am that said, essentially, hot, crowded, and the tour groups have arrived.

Welcome to July in WDW!
COLOR="Purple"]Now for my issues:
1. I finally got my boss to approve my vacation. So now with 3 weeks left, I need to hire a temp and train them before I leave. 2. DH is not going to Disney, we knew this from the start. But since he is not going his ex-wife will not allow me to take their daughter (my step daughter) who is 11. Sorry for the long post and venting. I guess I should have started a PTR and I could have laid all of this out on there instead of clogging up this thread.
You aren't clogging the thread!!! Vent away! You have really been busy! So sorry you have all this hanging on you. Poor step daughter, and you, for dealing with all this!!! It will make WDW feel that much sweeter. That's how I felt with all my Master's degree stuff hanging over my shoulder!
UGH! It's going to be fine, because no matter what we do, dd will have fun

DH is home from work and in about 15 minutes or so I will hide the clues and start the treasure hunt. I'm so excited to tell!
That's exactly right. It'll all go away in WDW! I can't wait to hear about DD's reaction!
Okay, I can now officially go to Disney with no worries. My school called me today to let me know that there is an opening in the Middle School Math Department if I wanted it.

Husbands coming home, new jobs, job interviews.... it's all so exciting. And then, we all have WDW!!!!!
Well, haven't gotten as much accomplished as I wanted, but honestly, I am so burned out from stressing to get all the school work done in the last month, I am just drained. Last load of

in, stuff for room packed, park bag, stroller bag, snacks, all packed, batteries checked in fans, rewards and visa debits activated, Dh cashing in change now, still miles to go.
DH and I were trying to nail down our touring plans. With the crowds next week, we know that a plan is going to be important to get things done. We were trying to figure out how to get in Soarin and TT, while getting as many FP's for later, and still make Akershus at 10:30. We checked the website, and there was a 8:05 ADR!!!!! On the 4th of July!!!! Before 9am Rope Drop!!! So excited! Hopefully, will help us bypass crowds going in, and get more done that first hour!!!
