July 2011:Calling all planners-Post your dates & Resort

miprender,
What was I thinking! Of course I'm going to meet them at the Pirates and Pals party. Duh.

Welcome! If you would like to post your ADRs I will add them to our list. Where are you staying???

We're staying at POP. We actually don't make ADRs and have had tables available if we wanted to have TS although we are looking into making some so we'll see.

I just added an 8:20 AM reservation at Crystal Palace on the 7th. We've got one on the 4th and I'm canceling it because they decided to open up MK at 8 AM and we have to do Tangled that morning.

My lunch is over and I still have about 10 pages to read. I hope I'll get to them tonight.

I'm stressing over the fact that I don't think I have enough shorts, the kids both need new sneakers and just feel like I haven't planned anything yet.

We are now in the teens. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

We will be going from July 16th-23rd and staying off-site. My daughter has been asking me for weeks to post something on the board so here is our first ever post. This will be her first year riding the big roller coasters and wanted me to tell everyone that she is very excited :hyper:.

That is a great reason for your 1st post and for your DD to be excited. I love all the roller coasters. Tell her to have a blast.

They've changed most of the hours for the month of July. There are now 2 MS Elec. Parades per night and 2 Fantasmics per night at the time I am there!

And no...you don't get to celebrate NOT riding the big coasters LOL

Thanks for the link. I had just checked the disney site and the hours were still the same.

Well guys... I have something to celebrate on this trip.

I got hired in a private school. I'll be teaching religion to seniors.

That is great news.

You are so sweet to put so much effort into it! I am afraid mine will be something store bought.

Where I currently live, there honestly is not to much. I mean an hour North is a GREAT winery, but I can only carry 2 bottles in a carry on and there are 7 people for the Meet:rotfl: Then there is the Army Post....not a whole lot there, buildings that are some old, some new...soldiers everywhere. And there is Sacketts Harbor which is some town that had a part in one of the battles of 1812...tourist town now with a soap shop and a few museums.

I decided that the things I made were to small though...not to small for my kiddo's to carry but for adults they were on the tiny side. So I'm just going to buy the fabric and sew them. I figured out it takes me about an hour and a half to complete one of the items (that's without seam ripping by the way) so I can get them all done in about 3 days from start to finish if I do a few in the evenings after dinner. I still have to figure out what else to do with my day's though in the mean time. All this "hurry up and wait" has me anxious!

We usually do very few ADRs so I totally understand.....if you decide to make any, just post them and I will add them on.:goodvibes

I will fix that up!

I know what you mean about the shorts - the positive is I have lost some weight, the negative is all my shorts are baggy.......I want to wait as long as possible to buy new ones, but I am afraid if I wait too long I won't find any.......I also need new sneakers, but am waiting to get my new inserts ( I have plantar fasciitis) which is Friday, before I can shoe shop.

However, I did print my Mousekeeping envelopes last night, so that is done.....still have a lot to do though.

Well, if I wasn't already married forever, I'd just say bring me a soldier...:rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2::banana:

Sounds like we've all got a bit of WDW sillies today! I have been :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: It tends to take over the brain. 2 more assignments done, somehow! Not submitting them yet, going to look over with a fresh brain this evening. Time for some planning!

I've completely lost my mind. I still have to keep reminding myself that we have to be at the town pool to register for swim lessons tonight. I have told everyone to remind me and even wrote a note to myself on my hand. Last year I completely forgot about it. I don't want to do that again!

Please let me know if there are any corrections needed to the ADR list. I almost could not find it- lol - this thread is really hopping. If anyone else would like to add ADRs, just post them and I will update the list.

I have 2 ADR's to add

July 27th - Cinderella's Royal Table @ 4:25pm
July 30th - Garden View Tea Room @ 3:40pm

Hehe, I'm not suppose to know the reservations for the 27th, but I couldn't help myself! I had to take a peek. Let's say that DH did good for our anniversary dinner :thumbsup2

My last bit of paperwork arrived today, exactly 3 weeks before my trip! I'm all set and ready to go now!! :rotfl:

Can't wait till next week...then we'll be able to start packing/cleaning/getting ready for our trip.

I can't believe I got through all those posts. I had a message from my TA that my stuff is is, so tomorrow during lunch I'm going to pick it up.
:banana::banana::banana:

Tell me about it.... I just got laid off yesterday.....

I'm so sorry to hear that. Hopefully you will find something even better.

DH and I will be there 7/16 - 7/23 doing a split stay at Poly and AKL. We'll be celebrating both our birthdays. Mine is 7/18 and his is 7/19. I've always wanted to be there for my birthday :banana:

Happy Birthday!!!!

Is everyone going in July a teacher except me??

No, I'm a software programmer that works on a student management system.

Plus... as of tomorrow... 2 WEEKS!! lol... we are slightly excited. Slightly is an underestimated term. ;) I keep reading more and more about POFQ and I KNOW I picked the right place for us.... AND I get to meet some of you great people and get a Dole Whip. Could life really get better? :grouphug:

I agree, the more I read about POFQ the more excited I get.

Confession: I've never had a Dole Whip.

It is quite yummy

Ok I opened it. Amy and Wendy I already put you in it. The name of it is July 2011 DIS group. It's a closed group, but if you can't join it by me approving, just send me a message here and i"ll add you from my end. Otherwise I don't knw another way to do this

I'll pop over there in a bit and send a request.
