July 2011:Calling all planners-Post your dates & Resort

Yes, i was putting my list together today! Exciting stuff! :)

I was making the packing list while I was distributing weight between bags last night :lmao: I only have a shirt and a pair of shorts to put in the bag's for the girls:thumbsup2

This made me happy to read! :) I'm very excited for this breakfast!!!

Sigh. Ok. I think this board has me convinced DH and I need ADRs. And... DH thinks I'm a little nuts because of it.... Gonna try to map up where we'll be on which days exactly soon... do RnC, and Via Napoli, (I think. Still debating.) Maybe Sanaa? I keep hearing it's amazing- but we're doing a Boma breakfast and a room service dinner. SO.... would it be different enough, you think? Or is another place better?
My DH thought I was nuts to when I told him about making ADR's to quote him "I duno what I want to eat for dinner tonight! What makes you think I know what I want to eat 6 month's from now?"

With everything else that has come up this week 6 year old granddaughter Shelby fell off her bike today and broke her arm. Had surgery this evening and now we are waiting to hear. It's been a long week.
pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust: That everything goes ok with her surgery and that she is ok afterwards!

Haha exactly!! Happy anniversary ^_^ That's amazing, I hope hubby and I make it that long :)

For us, it would be going into debt because we don't have jobs right now, we're moving and have interviews for jobs that ... if we get, we will be moving internationally, which, for us, takes a lot of money.
Lol so $80 on top of an ADR already made, is going into debt for us :rotfl:
As sad as that sounds :lmao:

pixiedust: That you and DH both get the jobs your working for!

 TA called... Mickey Mail is in!!!
:dance3::cheer2:
Do you think it would be weird to get an "i'm Celebrating" button for a New Kidney??? LOL

I am so looking forward to this trip after all that my family has been thru with my illness!!
:banana::banana::banana::banana:
Why would it be weird? I think it's an AWESOME thing to celebrate!

Last year I had buttons for 1st Trip, Anniversary and Celebrating Texas (I got that one from a CM in Epcot). This year I will only be getting an Anniversary pin. DH however get's 1st Trip, Anniversary and Birthday (he will be out in the sandbox again for his birthday so I want him to have a memorable one).

I had a lovely morning, woke up and my left eye was glued shut, itching and watering, so I went to the doc. He couldn't tell if it was pink eye or allergies so he gave me med's to treat both. I'm just glad were getting all these illnesses out of the way before we go.

No rest for the weary, but I just have to post that 2 weeks from right now, I will be at AKL!!!!:banana:

Oh my, I hope she is OK. Sending some pixie dust your way.

I made three cute little minnie head shirts today, and am realizing I don't know how to post pics. Its late and I am not messing with photobucket or whatever tonight. So imagine this: white t shirt, black mickey head with pink and white dotted bow on it. No facial features, no name. Simple and cute.

Ok now time dragged for so long and its just zooming along isn't it? Two weeks tomorrow I will be on the train heading south. Going to do that rehearsal pack tomorrow. Have my lists ready to go. I think we are set ( except for a pair of sneakers and sandals for youngest dd)

I am so thrilled to be spending my birthday with Mickey. Last year I spent it in the hospital and I want to erase that from my mind!!!!:cool1::rolleyes1

No better way to forget about it. Disney is my happy place, I forget about everything else going on in my life.

I think they'll do that at check in. We've got ours listed on our reservation (DDs graduation, DWs birthday, our 20th Anny), but I thought someone said those could be added on.

We are celebrating our 20th too. happy graduation to DD, happy birthyday to DW and happy anniversary to you and DW.

I'm still waiting for my TA to call.

I'm thinking celebrating a new kidney would top most celebrations out there!

That is very true.

Custom Autograph books DONE and delivered to me today.
I made the books my self and sent them to mixbook to be printed. When I get home I'll try to put up picutes!! YAY!!!! I'm so excited!

Whew! Got an answer back from Undercover Tourist....seems our WDW ticket order got "lost in the paper shuffle" and they're processing it and mailing it out today! This could only happen to ME!! :lmao:

Glad to hear it got resolved!!!

I was at Target last night and found 18 plastic hangers for $2.00 - and bought the 3 in 1 laundry sheets, at least I feel like I am starting to get organized!

I can't help it! Allergy season has been worse then normal this year lol. I'm on 2 types of eye drops right now and they are already helping.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2For getting organized!

We're staying at Westgate Vacation Villas. A family member gave us their time share week, so we couldn't pass it up, even with all the bad reviews!

We stayed there once, although it was quite a few years ago. I remember it as being fine.

Do you think it would be weird to get an "i'm Celebrating" button for a New Kidney??? LOL

At least they answered you right away! You should have them in time for your trip with no problem :)

You speak the truth!!!! I had such bad migraines/sinus headaches earlier this week from not being on Zyrtec. I am just now returning to normal. Hopefully, you are on the right path!

NO WAY!!! That's a great idea! My mom, due to being a juvenille diabetic, had a kidney and pancreas transplant! If my parents were to go with us in July, I would DEFFINETLY be getting her an I'm Celebrating button!!!

The years go by quick. September will be 15 years for us. We honeymooned in Disney and I would love to spend my actual anniversary down there but with DH:teacher: I will have to settle for July/Aug trip.

Sending PixieDust that your DH an you get the job.:wizard:
Thank you for the PixieDust! We need it!

Awe, we also did our honeymoon at WDW lol though, it wasn't as far back. You know, in sometimes it seems like the time just drags by, like I swear we've been married for 10 years already! :goodvibes But other times we look back and are like "Wow, 3 years already?"
Wow! I just took a look at the first page and you're going to be in WDW when we are ^_^ Maybe we can say hello?

I totally understand the $80 thing. I know the two family trips we took down when I was younger were extremely budget tight trips. My parents didn't have much, but did all they could. We always headed to the parking lot for lunch. My mom always had sandwiches out there for us. Hey, whatever it took. We were at Disney. I didn't care! Of course, we still have the hilarious memory of doing this at Universal. A flock of birds found us. Mind you, we were sitting in the car. They lined up on the cars on either side of us and sat there watching us. It was so scary, we rolled our windows up! :lmao:
Haha yup! That's how me and my family did it! Though, as a family, we never went to WDW, we went to Disneyland (twice) and we always stayed off the resort (to this day, I have an obsession with staying ON resorts! :lmao:). Now it's me and DH doing it, while we do have a meal plan, we still need to budget in case we get the job :)
:rotfl: And that is HILARIOUS with the birds!!! :rotfl2: Didn't you guys get hot in the car with the windows rolled up? lol

 I'm so glad you're getting better/are better :yay: I think that would be one of the motherloads of celebrations ^_^

pixiedust: That you and DH both get the jobs your working for!
Thank you so much! We're working really hard to get it done. Unfortunately my old boss refuses to give me a recommendation because he says we haven't interacted much (He's in maryland, I'm in utah). Though, I think he just doesn't like me :rolleyes1

If you're interested in knowing ...
DH and I are not graduated from university yet, we will get our BAs in August though. So, if we get the job, we will literally be hired right out of school (how often does THAT happen?)

The job is teaching English in Japan :woohoo: We would be there for 1.5 years ^_^ We did take a study abroad to Japan last summer and we fell in love. I've also taken a year of college Japanese (along with numerous history/culture classes). So this is my last huge dream before DH goes to med school :goodvibes

If we get the job, you can bet I'll be telling all of you ^_^ AND we'll be adding a new celebration onto our package!

That sounds like an AWESOME job! And while your there you can go to Disneyland Tokyo!

I've actually just done the SMARTEST thing I can think of for this trip! After Hailey lost her GC that we got for her and I hadn't written down the information on the back of the card, I decided it was HIGH time I did for the remaining cards. So I wrote down a short description of the cards, their numbers and their amounts in my TR journal!

My eyes are starting to feel better. I was only supposed to start with one type of drops and then if they didn't work move on to the other, but I'm not taking any chances :rotfl2: I'm tired of getting sick or having people in my house sick...enough with the illnesses! Nothing but happy thoughts and healthy people!

Speaking of celebrations, we too will be celebrating...we are calling this trip our 20-40-20 trip. My sister and I are celebrating our 20th trip to WDW and our mom is celebrating her 40th trip!

That's awesome:yay: Are you going to get celebration buttons?

You have to love family....things are going to be interesting in a couple of days!!

You see my insane brother is doing 2 trips to FL this year (actually it's not his fault, my sister couldn't get off to go during his first planned trip or else we would already be there!)...anyway...seems he got a little stuck in Orlando and had to ask my parents to wire some money! OOPS!!! He has it but got a 30 day hold put on so couldn't access it.

It will make for interesting umm...not sure they are going to want to turn around and go back again in a couple weeks....is my hair turning gray yet? Oh wait...yes it is. :scared1:

Of course, right now I'm so in the intense planning a pageant that is to happen on July 9 that Disney is a million miles from my mind right now, other than my 14 year old asked "How many more days until Disney?" :lmao: It's always there but it's -- I have to get through the pageant first thought as I'm trying to order things & not panic that some things are going to be coming down to the wire and I don't even make any money off of this stress!!!!! It's a fundraiser! :rotfl:

We will be going from July 16th-23rd and staying off-site. My daughter has been asking me for weeks to post something on the board so here is our first ever post. This will be her first year riding the big roller coasters and wanted me to tell everyone that she is very excited :hyper:.
