As far as the surprise goes, someone suggested I make a puzzle and send her on a scavenger hunt for the pieces that she can put together to reveal the trip. I think its the perfect idea for a 7 year old, she will love it!

I was the one who did that It worked out amazingly well for us. I'm going to do it again for this trip. DD doesn't know yet that we're going.

No problem. I understand. You were distracted thinking of Dole Whips.

I haven't had a Dole Whip since 2009. I know that because it was too cold to eat ice cream last time we were there.

I feel like I have so much to do between now and then !

I put my DD as 7 on here, just so I don't have to update it later, but she's turning 7 on June 30th! We're celebrating her bday this trip too!

My dd is still listed at 7 on here, but will be 8 on June 27th. We might have tried to go for her bd this year, but school here doesn't end until June 25th. Weekend airfare was just crazy, though.

My youngest DD will be 8 on July 8th so we are celebrating her birthday this trip too! We are leaving here on July 8th and will be at Disney on July 9th. I tried to schedule it so we could be there on her b-day but my work schedule wouldn't allow it. Before Disney, we will be in St. Louis July 1-4th so we have a busy couple weeks.

We're not actually going to be there on her birthday, but shortly thereafter, so we're still calling it a birthday celebration. It's her first visit to WDW too, so it's going to be pretty special! It's kinda neat that alot of us have girls around the same age, and with birthdays all around the same time!

I LOVE the little girl on the Disney Vacation DVD, that says "I am SO excited!!" she's too cute! My DD likes to imitate her

I had 4 pages of posts to catch up reading!

I can't believe it! Next month we will be in Disney with my DH! So I get to be with my most favorite person in the world in my happiest place on earth!!

I did a no no today and went to the mall....They opened up a Children's Place and I couldn't resist! I got Hailey some shorts and tank tops and Gillian some short's and tank tops and each of the girls some new sunglasses (although Meghan got 2 pairs because they were 2 for 5 and I have 3 DD's and she was closest to me when I saw the sign ) Then we went to 2 sporting good's stores to look for new kayak shoes for Meghan..first store was a total flop, all they had were Croc's flip flops (and Meghan wanted closed toe) so we went to another one and she found a pair she liked that were on sale I also bought her some hair ties at Claires. Saturday I have to use my 50% off coupon for the fabric. I also got 2 100 dollar gift card's from Sams club today with 10 dollar Disney store gift cards. I can't help but wonder though, can those 10 dollar cards be used in the World of Disney Store in DTD?

Any of the DISigners have one made... maybe i could have my DIS user name on it... or under it??

I'd like to make some tags for my luggage/backpacks...maybe even our door at CSR....

I got my new Baggallini for the trip. I was a little sad when I saw it had a magnetic closure, I had looked carefully and not seen it in the pictures. Last year I had a terrible time with our APs demagnetizing and I did not want that to happen again. Anyway, I was able to do a little "surgery" and remove the magnets. Luckily they were in a spot where they were not noticeable or necessary.

Thanks for finding the threads about the lime green Mickey Head. Having trouble gettting the paper off of mine so I hope I can get back to a Home Dept to get a few more since I have ruined 4. At least I still have one from our last trip but since I didn't laminate it it looks kind of tattered.

I can put together a lime green mickey head with your disname in it I will work on it later today. I think I will make me one too!

That stinks it had magnets! I just got one too and I looked it up and down and don't see any magnets ... are there different models? Mine appears to be all zippers. Where were your magnets?

Mmmm float all the way! But I am a float person My favorite kind of float is root beer with chocolate ice cream!
