Hi everyone! Just booked our trip tonight!

July 23 to July 30 at the Wilderness Lodge!!!

Well we were there in July 2007 - DS born in April 2008 , brought him "home" to Disneyworld in July 2009, then visited AGAIN in July 2010 and said last year we were going to take a breather from Disney as we are in Scotland, should really visit elsewhere and it's an expensive holiday ...

OOPS - booked yesterday for POFQ flying out 10 July!!! Maybe time for our second Port Orleans baby!! LOL!!

What better than those little Disney souvineirs

I am soooooooooooo jealous of people that can fly to Disney for $123 - we are around £2,400 (so I guess $3,600 roughly) for our flights alone for the 3 of us!! Breaks my heart but love it too much not to!! LOL!!

I was pretty excited to see $123 too. We normally have gone during April vacation, but with it falling on Easter our flight would have been $3500 for the 5 of us

Hi everyone, glad I found this thread. We plan on going July 22- Aug 3 and would like to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We stayed there last year and there was nothing better! It was amazing!

We will be checking out the same day and we are staying at AKL too

Hi! We went last year and celebrated my DGD's 5th birthday. It was so much fun and definitely magical, she wants to do it again! I"m already planning to go back next summer. I planning on July 8th to July 15th. We loved the Poly, but am thinking of POR for our next trip. Already starting planing, and anxiously awaiting the posting of the park hours for July so that I can decide on all the ADRs. I already have the 180 days on my calendar! Nice to know there are others who are planning their July holiday! Thanks Karen

Awesome! It will be our first time staying there. We went to dinner at Artist Point over the summer and fell in love with the feel of the resort. Have you stayed there before?

We are booked from July 6th to the 15th at the Poly. First time staying at that resort (my dream) and first time going in the summer. Not sure how we northerners will fare in the south during the summer, but being at the Poly, we can just hop on the monorail and go swimming!

Well I just got back from Disney the other day and it was Just like we are having here in NE. So right now I can't wait for the heat

Hey everyone! I just wanted to stop in and say hello for a second. Anyone working on ADR's yet? I need to start thinking about where we want to eat! We've done DXDP in the past, mostly b/c Dh thinks no trip to WDW is complete w/ 2 dinners at Ohana, I think no trip is complete w/o a meal in the castle, and the girls think it's not complete w/o characters for breakfast. However, finances are tight this year, and that was wayyyy tooo much food. I'm having a hard time narrowing it all down.......

I put together our ADR list earlier this week (it's easier to talk to DF about Disney dining when we're just back from a trip there! ) - our ADR day is next Tuesday.. can't wait to start the 6 month countdown!

Hey there yourself! I am sure you are CRAZY busy planning EVERYTHING! I think your disneymoon sounds soooo fabulous! I haven't even figured out when my ADR day is yet! LOL! I am still trying to figure it all out!

We have been writing out a list. We will have 13 TS to book
Definately on our list this trip will be Ohana's for breakfast. We ate there last week and loved it We also tried LTT for dinner and DH wants to go back there again.

I hope the park hours come out before I need to book my ADRs.

Hehe yes I have a lot to get planning with wedding and honeymoon now! Once Christmas and New Year are over, I'm looking forward to spending my weekends devoted to wedding plans!

I have been in the summer before and swore I would never go back at that time, but we will be there for 2 weeks so we can go at a slower pace.

And actually having been down there a few weeks ago when it was so bitterly cold I think I prefer the heat

I can book mine on the 23rd. But does anyone know when the official July park hours come out?

REALLY stupid question: is there anywhere to get an exact count or should I use my fingers?

For example, I want to make a dining reservation for July 12. My counting had it at January 12th or the 13th. (Obviously, without any pointers, I'll try on the 12th and see what happens)

But in better news, as I'm sharing with EVERYONE: I had surgery on 11/16. As of today, I'm FREE! Off crutches, out of my leg brace, and looking forward to a BRIGHT future with no more chronic knee troubles!
