July 2007 Rate/Code Watch

Count us in for july also. We will be stopping by july 10-14. This is a very special trip for us. It will be myself, wife, and our new born baby daughter. Cant wait to take her sooner but by july she'll be 7 months old.

:cool1:

Hoping for a discount as well. We have 2 rooms at POP for 7/7 -7/16. 4 adults and 2 juniors * (age 10 and 15). I just booked through Disney with the dining and MYW hopper and waterpark fun and more package.

Count me in! I'd love to learn about any and all deals for July, since my fiance and I will be going to WDW for our honeymoon then! :) Very appropriate as that is also were we got engaged.

We are doing a Disney cruise for first time, but staying at WDW beforehand - can't wait!!!! Also, if anyone knows any tips for getting discounts when you book through Disney Cruise Line (which is what we did), I'd love to know! We are also AAA members.

Thanks!!!

Welcome!

On the bottom of this page you will see a drop down box. Click on it and you can go to the Forum just for the cruise line. A cruise is a perfect honeymoon.:thumbsup2 We took our 1st for our honeymoon and have been on MANY since! I hope your trip and your wedding are very special.

We are also headed to Disney in July, the 7th to 14th.:cool1: Have not made ressies yet, but looking at CSR. Do you think any discounts will be forthcoming? Should I just make the ressies and wait and see? I'm new to this. We were quoted $2800 for 8days/7nights with 7 day tickets park hopper and water parks plus the dining plan. There are 3 of us 2 adults one 9 year old.

We went through EBAy, for 5 nights at $965. The seller had a feedback rating of 99.6% having sold 1525 vacations. Always wanted to stay near EPCOT.... I'm counting the days!

I would most definitely make your reservations. I booked BC for July 2007 a year in advanced. When our airline finally came out with flight information, we decided we wanted to add an extra day (for several reasons but one big one was non-stop flight home). I called in December to add a day and was told that they were booked solid and I could not add a day.

Thanks, Disneycrazymom! This is our first cruise together, and I'm so excited. I'm hoping it will become as much a tradition as going to WDW, but I guess I'll have to wait a little while for that. ;)

Any special tips for the cruise or pre-nights at WDW? I'm trying not to ruin any suprises by reading too many details and looking at pictures, but I also don't want to miss something special and regret it later. Thanks!!!!

Scanne,
I am from NJ also and I am also going to the Poly in July. Can I ask what rates you got thru DU with AAA discount? I got GV 6 nights with 6 day park hoppers and dining for $3972 (Me DH, DD4, DD9, DD12) as a pkg. directly thru AAA. I'm curious if you did better. I priced it to be a savings of $340 for disney rates.

I just booked the Polynesian GV, 8 nights, 9 days park hoppers, with dining for $4895 through AAA for July. This includes me, DH, and one child who's ten and therefore charged as an adult, and 2 kids. I also got a quote for 7 nights for $4441. Your prices are in line with mine.

Hi. Sorry I didn't see this post sooner.

We booked room only and got $314 a night (that includes tax). We're AP holders so I'm hoping for an AP rate that is a little lower. I'd love to get under $300 a night. We were originally booked garden concierge and that was over $500 a night. What was I thinking?

We'll be there 7/8 to 7/17/07. Do our dates cross? What part of NJ are you from? We're in Mount Laurel near Cherry Hill.

I just booked Poly GVC with AAA room only rate and it was $444.66 per night with tax. This is for 7/14-22. Your dates should be in value season though. Unless it starts 7/9?

Yes, you're right. When I referenced my per night rate, I was looking at my DU ressie and our original deposit was listed as being over $500 per night. That was for GVC before any discount. Then I had gotten the AAA discount, but I upgraded to LVC with AAA (which was still in the $500's), so we then decided to change to a regular GV room. Thanks for the heads up!

Scanne,
My AAA pkg works out to $315.00 a night, so pretty much the same. I've never stayed at the polynesian, so I hope it's worth it, but I think it will be! We are going 7/10-7/16 so yes we will be there at the same time. We are Garden View also and I was thinking about requesting "Samoa". Do you think it's a good idea to request a specific bldg? I want to be close to the pools.
We are not AP holders, but I was hoping some kind of discount would come out for those dates. I still have my fingers crossed.
We live in Old Bridge. When I called for ADR a CM asked me if I was from NJ before I said it , so I guess I have a "Jersey accent".. Who knew?
Happy planning...and here's hoping for a nice discount for both of us!

Looks like our dates cross, maybe we will see you there!!!!

No sign or rumor of the July rates yet??? The suspense is maddening. We'll be there in mid-July for 11 days. Hope to see some people wearing Disboards gear there.

We'll be there 6/30 - 7/8 this year! We love the July 4th week @ Disney!!! (yep, we're insane!)

We're DVC members, but also have APs, so we're hoping for a discount on our last 3 nights. We're currently booked @ CR with a AAA rate of $450.56/night (OUCH!) for the end of our trip. That's for a tower MK view room. It's what I really wanted & DH relented since we're saving on our stay for the 1st part of the week @ SSR ....

Come on codes ..... :cool1:

Not quite sure what we're doing this summer. We're booked at SOG, however, BIL(military) & his family might be backing out, therefore we couldn't stay at SOG. A code, pin, or pixiedust certainly would be nice!
