I've lurked (and posted) some on the meet thread for our next cruise... got to say, this group sure seems to have us spoiled! I think we had a really unique DIS group, so the bar has been set high.

I could not agree with you any more. Well said!!

First week of work is almost over. All went well, but it is sure going to be a long school year.... DS is back to soccer practice after the dislocation of his knee while he was on the cruise. He did not tear anything or break anything, just bone bruises and some stretching of tendons. I think the practices were a little harder for him this year since he could do no conditioning. He dislocated his knee while playing soccer on the sports deck. Ya, know this cruise was filled with some kind of negative happenings for us. DS knee, my lost luggage, and me becoming ill on Thur. evening. You may think that we might never try another cruise. Oh, but you are WRONG. I can't wait to book a cruise out of Florida so that Greg can see Castaway Cay...(although this is probably years away) I sure wish it could be sooner...

Hello All. Sorry I have not posted in a while, but as my daughter mentioned I threw out my back putting in a new patio in the back yard two weeks aga.

Fran, I am up for that dance, but it is very difficult to sit at the computer - very busy at work since vacation - not much time for anything else.

Wendy/Tim - GREAT MOVIE, PICTURES & MUSIC. I sure do miss the great time we had.

Fran & Dave - You tile work is great. And your DL trip looked like alot of fun. It sure is great seeing pictures of others vacations as you get to see the parks and ship through thier eyes. Keep the pictures coming.

This was such a great group of people and we had so much fun... sure would love to cruise with everyone again..but we are not able to pull the kids out of school.

Dave, Ron & Monica - have a great time on the 10 day - we will think of you.

Angie - Hawaii sounds great, but I agree it will be hard to beat the Magic and the trip we had.

For everyone else, have a great school year - our cruise was one of the best ever - thanks to everyone.... We hope to see all soon \\

I'll be there with my boys (Tim is in China). I had to tease him... he got into the Shanghai airport late at night and needed to get cash to pay for the cab ride to the hotel (who knew the cabby wouldn't take American Express) Anyway... he used our personal visa (note... also an ATM card) to get the cash he needed for the cab ride. He mixed up the exchange rate in his head, and ended up withdrawing over $400 cash from our account! I guess he's a good tipper! Reminder to self... make sure Tim has cash when he travels.

We are just about to start on a new deck, which will be off the sunroom. I was just thinking....since you have experience with outdoor improvements maybe you would like to come give me and Greg some pointers...Oh, and don't worry the wood was really light when I helped Greg unload it yesterday! So, it shouldn't bother your bad back at all.

I replayed both for everyone who came to my daughters birthday party friday night. Its fun to see everyones different favorite shots (not drinks...pictures!) and music.

Hope everyone has fun at the No Calif party.....would love to come if one is planned near Disneyland in the future.

We're getting ready for school to start in a few weeks (yeah!) and enjoying these last few weeks of summer. I finally have ALL my photo's printed and everything sorted and ready to scrapbook. I have 2 scrapbook workshops scheduled for next weekend and hope to finish the whole vacation album. Wish me luck!!

We don't have any cruises booked and its killing me....I sooo miss the ship..but we're going to Disneyland Paris next April so thats where our money's going for now. Anyone been there before? Details or ideas?

Anyone else following the "live" thread for the return repo cruise? I'm SO glad we didn't have the swells they've been getting! I can just imagine it... when they have a DIS meet many will already have that green glow about them, and not have to bother with wearing green. Too bad they're missing Cabo though.

Finally deciced to join in the fun. Doing so from Shanghai (though I'd much rather be on the Magic or in Elk Grove). Sure had a great time on the cruise! Having Wendy meet so many of you in advance made it that much better.


So nice of you all to offer to chauffeur us around...Guess I need to re-learn my multiplication tables. I'm so used to using spreadsheets now...

Anyway have fun at the meet this weekend. Wish I could be there with you all, but there's this darn work thing going on.

I am so glad that I am not on the Magic with those big swells. The swells that we had while in Cabo (which were not all that big) put me over the edge.( In more ways than one if ya know what I mean) It is a shame that they had to miss Cabo though 'cause it was really a pretty port.
Everyone have a great time at the Dis meet! I really wish that I could be there.

Hello from Arizona We thought the rain was gone - it's trying to come back.

David, how was Vegas? Did you and Ron paint the town red??? We do need to get back to planning the Arizona meet, now that our kiddos, and Ben and Vickies daughters are settled back in school. Of course, we unexpectedly found ourselves in South Scottsdale this evening!!!

Jim, we've been thinking of a deck too How was Kim's sweet 16? Is she licensed to drive now? Shane is eligible for his permit Monday (actually, Sunday but...). I don't know if I'm taking him that day or waiting. Can I wait til he's 30????

A friend of mine pointed this out.......look near the fork in the tree to Bryce's right. It's a big green snake! At least I think it is - I zoomed in on it. I don't know how small the picture will be after posting it. I know we were in the rainforest, but still................the thought of snakes never even entered my mind (fortunately)! Even after seeing that big python on the bar at the restaurant!!!

By the way, I did like Ben's idea of posting pics on here. It would be kind of like our version of the thread DCL picture of the day!

Great Pic. Yep, sure looks like a snake to me. Ya, know we took an hour hike through the rainforest and I never thought of snakes either. I take it that Bryce did not see it while zipping by?


I love the idea of posting pic. but how do you do it? We have our pictures from vacation stored on the comp. but I have no idea of how to get them to go anywhere else.
