July 18, 2015 - Fantasy Eastern

I am willing to set up and coordinate the fish extenders activity! If you are interested in joining (first 20 to respond)....please leave your last name, room number, age, along with the gender of your kid(s). Or, if your whole family would like to be a part of it, leave info for all!
I will keep a running list of people interested on this feed. Can't wait for the cruise!!

Hi!

We did our first cruise over spring break, and made the mistake of doing too short of one. As a result, we've booked onto this one. I think our kids could potentially really get into the FE.
We don't know stateroom number yet, but it will be two parents and two kids - Son (9), Daughter (11).

We had an awesome time last time, and personally, I think it would be awesome if the kids had some introductions/pre-knowledge before the cruise. We meet a couple of great families on the last day of the last cruise. Had we met earlier, I think the kids would have had even more fun together at clubs/aquaduck/pools/etc.

Just booked our first disney cruise and am super excited. Traveling with my husband, son (7), son (1), and mother. I would love any advice or recommendations. Looking forward to a new adventure!

I see several other families with younger kids close in age to my girls who are 6 & 3. Do you know what you're doing on St Thomas and St Martin yet? I'm considering a non-DCL excursion with Bernard's for St Martin and think we'll hit up St Thomas on our own, maybe try to get to the Blackbeard's castle area. My girls have limited excitement for the beach, so saving our beach day for Castaway!

We're doing the Golden Eagle Catamaran expedition for St. Maarten. St. Thomas.... we (I) wanted to do the zip lines, but my son doesn't have quite enough lead in his pants to meet the minimum requirements listed (I THINK we could do a tandem, but not sure enough to risk the fee)

I'm sure we'll do something, but part of our plans are still in flux at the moment.

We'd like to join the FE. We are an adult only cabin Dee and Christy Hollyfield cabin #8662, this is our first Platinum cruise. Our friends (the McKay's cabin #8168) have two girls ages 8 & 9 they'd like to have their girls participate as well.

Hi everyone! We just booked this cruise over the weekend. This will be our 5th cruise with DCL and our first on the Fantasy! We're a party of 4. Myself, DH, DD 14, & DD 22. DD 19 has the job of a lifetime in the Disney College Program at the Magic Kingdom, so she won't be able to come with us this time.

We are so excited for July 18th. This is our first cruise.
We would be interested in fish extenders if any one has room.

We are sailing on this cruise too! It's our family of 4, my in-laws, and my brother in law with his family of 5. Our friends also happen to be sailing too. That was unintentional.
I'm interested in the fish extender for my family of 4. My husband and I celebrate our anniversary on the ship. My daughter will turn 15 on board. My son is 12. Last name is Borne. 7058. We are looking forward to the trip!

We are also doing a Bernard's tour. He had come highly recommended by other travel agents so I decided to give him a try. We are doing private tour. We are doing the aquarium on the St Thomas/St John day.

Is there still room on the FE list? If so, here are our details:
Kashyap family
2 parents
DS - 7 years old

Our room # is 10596

Also, I am thinking of booking a three island snorkeling excursion in St. John with St. Thomas Scuba and Snorkel Adventures. Not sure what we will be doing in St. Maarten. Is there a meet - up organized for this group on the ship?

Hi All!
We are the Bromund's (7582) and the Mohr's (7584). We booked this cruise quite a long time ago, however, I never knew there was a special Disney thread for posting. There will be myself and my DH, DD, SIL and Carson 4 and Reagan 7. Although we are not new to cruising, this will be our first Disney cruise. We have been Disney fans for many, many years and are now looking forward to this cruise. I'm not sure what fish extenders are, but we'd like to join in. Is that possible? My daughter has been trying to read up on it.

Hi everyone!

Unfortunately, posts have been removed from a number of Cruise Meets threads including this one.

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine managing meet and Fish Extender discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS) and way before social media was even a thing.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is completely up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM (conversation).

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread and just share a pdf document through a private conversation confidentially with just those who want to join in!

Enjoy!

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if you need any help getting started!
