I'm in for a race, I'll be around for a while, we're heading to dinner about 1:30...John does the holiday cooking and he did everything yesterday since he volunteers as the video director for our church on Sundays.

DD is insisting that I teach her how to cross-stitch! Um - I have trouble with it sometimes and she's only 7!!!! Everytime she runs into something she can't do - "mommy can you help me PLEEEEEAAAASE!!!!"

DD#2 wants to make dinner - macaroni & cheese with spinach lasagne.......................Hmmmm little too carb heavy for my tastes. :lmao:

I haven't cross stitched in YEARS! I am so undomestic! DS15 is cooking us breakfast right now! He is making pancakes...... I love when he cooks!:worship:

There goes dinner - never mind - the girls have broken into their Easter candy. :headache:

Why is it that that stuff always tasted so good when I was a kid - but if I never eat another "Peep" again - I won't be sorry!:confused3

So do you like your Peeps fresh or stale :confused3 FIL loves them sitting out uncovered for a few days. The kids like to microwave them and watch them destruct.

I'm not a peep person, my favorite are the Reese's peanut butter eggs.

Russel Stover butter cream chocolate birds' nest with jelly bean eggs...AMAZING!! Fortunately, I coudn't find A ONE in the stores this year!:rolleyes1

When DH and I met - we both discovered our mutual affinity for that particular culinary combination.

We walked into Baskin Robbins and both made a beeline for the peanut butter and chocolate ice cream.... One more sign that we were made for each other. :thumbsup2:love:

The kids were candle bearers this morning at church - it's been awhile for my son - at 6'4" his robe was a bit small.. I think the sleeves came up to his elbows :rotfl:

Dh makes a wonderful chocolate and peanut butter cookie. The darker the chocolate the better...:thumbsup2

Our church is much less formal - a group of us didn't like the existing church options (in English) here, so we started our own. We started with about 10 families and are now up to ten times that depending on the time of year. :thumbsup2

I agree Cadbury eggs are way too sweet...

The things I like aren't the middle cream things. It's a type of chocolate that is a buttery cream (they are green). It's almost like a white choclate.

Those Cadbury things are NASTY!!
