Enjoy your day off tomorrow. This next month is going to be a nightmare for us at work. It's the end of the fiscal year - lots of outreach plans - prepping for a new boss - ARGHHHH!!!!

The closing ceremonies are tonight??? I obviously missed that as our satellite is not showing them today.

Tonight our plans are to sit in front of TV and watch the closing ceremonies of the Olympics - even though I've already seen pictures.

I'm waaayyy behind - I love DVR!!! I'm a total olympics junkie! My random thoughts and musings - I'm hooked on handball! The Synchro events were incredible, too! The power, strength and breath control for those routines. Finished team synchronized swimming today...Nothing sissy about Synchro... I think I would be in traction if I tried some of the rhythmic gymnastic moves... Too bad about the 4x100 relays for both the US and Jamaica - fundamental errors! An announcer got it right - they didn't make time to practice the handoffs - you can't win a relay on star power and speed alone... It'll be interesting to see if more countries "shop" for talent like the Georgian beach volleyball team.

No, sorry I'm deleting them off of the DVR - I quickly run out of room with CNBC, MSNBC, NBC and USA all recording...

Are they online? supposedly you can also view events on-line...Guess I"m not that much of a junkie...

It's going to be bad for every team in the North. The Steelers have a very tough schedule & their offensive line is in shambles. The Bengals as an organiztion is totally whack & our entire team looks very bad. The Browns secondary is getting burnt like toast. Unless you guys get some amazing pressure, teams are going to light you up in the passing game. And the Ravens are, well the Ravens. No offense what-so-ever.

Well, HE did it - Tyler got his driver's permit today
The little stinker: didn't study for the test until yesterday - i was on his case all day yesterday that he should have started studying earlier, not the night before - you should have seen the boy's grin when he came out of the testing area.....the grin said, 'see mom, you were wrong again'

Heaven help us!

How did I miss this? Matt's been driving for about a month now so I totally understand. I must say he is a pretty good driver.

This week is band camp. It's so quiet around here. I don't have to listen to "so what are we going to do today".
