Ouagadougou is the capital of Burkina Faso - where we live. We call it "Ouaga" (wahga) for short.

Congrats on the pirate!!! Less than 1 year to go! Wow.

Just got back from Adventures by Disney Wyoming. It was breathtaking and beyond wonderful. We knew Disney would do a great job, but it was more than expected. Incredible scenery and great people. We may have one couple join us on the cruise.

Best of luck to Matt. It seems like just yesterday our DS got his. Yesterday he moved to Boston to take a high school teaching position there. We are officially empty nesters (except for my mom and her aide).

Hope it works out for him.

The Grand Tetons - the bus just pulled over to the side of the road so we could take pictures!

Some of the scenery is so beautiful it looks fake- like someone put a green screen behind us. But it is absolutely real and incredible!

I am sure you will have a great time. DH was a little apprehensive as many of the tours you can do on your own with a little planning. But he is sold on another adventures by Disney as their attention to detail and organization, as well as the wonderful group we were with and the out-of-this-world guides, made this a trip we will never forget.

I never thought about it actually. I'll have to test it. The Ambassador actually has a 1930's car that her husband drives around town occasionally.

But how about this - the first person who pronounces the city correctly at the DIS meet gets a Konk Kooler on me!

Can't believe our 12 night trip is almost over - why does vacation go so quickly. Had dinner with Joann and family at Margaritaville before their cruise - expecting them to stop by and hang with us at the Boardwalk on Thursday all day before their flight....

Hey Wendy - are we still going to meet at the Boardwalk around 2-2:30 on friday?

Just a heads up for anyone needing to buy WDW tickets. The budget board is reporting that prices are increasing on Sunday. Not sure by how much. Looks like I'll have to buy Matt's ticket today. I have enough days left on our tickets but he needs 1 day more for next year.

we are here right now and the rumor is TRUE!
our passes will still be good next year, thank goodness, but if our 22 yr. old son decides to go along, we'll need to buy him a pass. We arranged our Disney trip this year so we would be able to use annual passes next year too.
