AdventureBlondeBoy: our school vacation begins NOW, until the Tuesday AFTER Easter...a very long one and we're NOT going anywhere!
I substituted in the high school office for the last three days - the kids were NUTS.....we are FINALLY on the countdown to the end of school - 3rd quarter ends first week in April, our final day of school (so far, pending no snow or ice) is June 6. I have a question - why aren't you allowed to call 'it' High School Musical - my husband is working with a local group of middle/high schoolers and they are doing High School Musical this summer.
Speaking of tolls: I remember the first time we drove from WDW to the port - talk about tolls!

No, my brother won't be arriving until next Thurs. We have our trimester exams beginning today. My test was today so I was marking them all afternoon and just finished recording the grades. I have one student absent so I have to go in on Wed. which is makeup day. Mon-Wed we have half days and I just have to proctor other subject tests.

I really should be cleaning the house on those half days......ugh

JoAnn having a great time in Germany - i've been e-mailing her mom....
can't wait to hear her report!

I am so glad to be retired from university TODAY of all days - it is ugly up there on St. Patty's Day - the bars open in this town at 6 AM and I've seen some horrible sites going to work at 8 AM....glad I'm home babysitting today.
We are now watching Elmo and Sesame Street - since my kids are 15 and 21 I've missed this show . She also likes Teletubbies - not MY favorite.

Thanks for the update on JoAnn, Lucy. Glad she is having a wonderful time. Just a quiet St. Patty's Day here. Had a half day from school as it is exam time. Put out my spring wreath, etc. to force spring to finally arrive. My brother arrives from AZ on Thurs. so have lots of cleaning to do. Got some corned beef and cabbage (I didn't cook it this year, I got it from the deli). My I'm getting lazy in my old age........

Well I won't be lonely for long - MIL comes in tonight. I'll send her to you. Until then you can share one of my kitties.

My cat Lil does this at the bathroom sink.

thanks, but no thanks.....TWO medical procedures this week for me that I'm NOT looking forward to - don't have time for her!

My son is so bored too - only his second day at home (spring break) and all i do is cook for him (well, cooking is only making canned ravioli and eggs for breakfast)...I suggested "HOMEWORK", his reply:

Gotta make a quick run to the grocery store - never have what i need for dinner...NO, I don't plan ahead....last minute, that's me! Anyway, I had to wait to go to the grocery store till the lunch hour was over - I PROMISED my girlfriends, who are still working, I would NOT go to the grocery store during their lunch hour (I hated that when I tried to quickly shop between 12-1 and there were SO MANY people there who could have stayed away during 12-1.)
Have a haircut planned this afternoon - looking forward to that...get to sit and chat for 1/2 hour!

Funny, I stopped at the grocery store about 1pm on the way home and could not believe all the senior citizens shopping (I guess few others are home at that time). I could feel my impatience as I just wanted to zip in and zip out and couldn't. Oh well, that will be me one day................

Wow, is this what you when you're on spring break and no vacay?....talk about food shopping?.......bummer!..... .......well, we're leaving germany tomorrow.......lots of stories to tell of our impressions, etc.....too amaziing (and tiring) for words of course.........talk to you all soon!!

Dental surgery tomorrow - can this week get any worse? I am now cancelling my "procedure" for Friday - two surgeries in one week - NOT!

How is everyone else? Weather here is yucky! Rain, rain, rain!
