The wrappings done, I really need to make cookies for an exchange tomorrow..............

I would have baked them for you, in exchange for wrapping my gifts:hug:   I just baked cookies today for someone who needs them for an exchange:cool1: :cool1: ....I can't even find where I hid all my gifts!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I just want ONE NIGHT where I'm not exhausted and my feet aren't killing me from standing on them all day. THEN, the family also expects clean laundry and dinner .....who do they think I am, oh, yea, a mom!:faint: :faint:

I have seven rooms torn up and I mean TORN UP! I have moved furniture from one place to another and have closets gutted in my living room. Mallory commented today that if we don't get this mess cleaned up, "Santa will think we live like pigs!" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I am so tired, but must continue!:rotfl:

I don't bake. I do participate in an exchange at work and they are amazing cooks! I make my pretzel hugs for the exchange. Now I have a beautiful plate of cookies on the table.....looks like I am Martha Stewart! :lmao:

Good Morning All!

My big Christmas preparation frenzy is over, I cleaned my house last week before my parents arrived, having left just ahead of the Chicago storms - my dad is giddy because we had the air conditioning on Saturday night. Can't say we're warm now - temps are in the 30s.

We had Christmas dinner yesterday with John's aunt, uncle, and cousins. 14 for prime rib, horseradish mashed potatoes, Cabernet sauce, squash, mushrooms, and peppermint cheesecake for dessert. Best part, I didn't cook! John does all of the holiday cooking, the meal was wonderful!!!

Preparations for Christmas? What, is it coming soon??? :scared1: I am so far behind, you'd think it was Halloween coming for me...........

Your meal sounds amazing!!! Mark would do McDonald's drive thru if it were up to him to prepare a meal!

I still have a couple of gifts to locate and not a single gift is wrapped! I despise wrapping gifts! I am going to try to get the boys to do Mallory's and they can do each others! That leaves me Mark's which isn't much. He's going on DCL this summer!:dance3:

Hi everyone!

We want to wish everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!

We're off to the airport to pick up my son and daughter-in-law.

want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas/Happy Holiday. Enjoy your families.:santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa:

Most importantly, wishing you a very Happy New Year, and we can't wait to meet everyone in 2009!:grouphug:

The other night my DH booked our airfare to Orlando (Air Tran from Phila, leaving Monday before cruise, $79).....airfare coming home wasn't yet available (ok with me if I can't get home:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

Everything is DONE for tomorrow - didn't get any cleaning done, but it is only the four of us tomorrow. Saturday night we are having an open house, with many friends (Tyler is having a sleep-over with at least 10 kids)....lots of cooking and cleaning to do. Only place we will go tomorrow is to visit my mother in the nursing home. We'll take her dinner (I'm making a turkey).
I was still baking cookies today. Tyler asked me why I'm still making cookies, I told him it is a stress-reliever for me.:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Because I'm still a believer, I'm watching Santa's flight...."he" is still in Europe.:santa: :santa: :santa: :santa:

Christmas cards NOT DONE! baking? NOT DONE! Gifts? NOT WRAPPED! OMG! It's 6:45! THe kids are saying they, "Are tired!!" :lmao:

Guess it's a wrap-a-thon!!! I think fatphil is game to help!!!!:thumbsup2

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!

:worship: :rotfl2: :goodvibes :wizard:  :cloud9: :santa: :grouphug: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:  Merry Christmas to all...........we are so ready for tomorrow....no work for like ten days.........Happy New Year too!! :cool1:

kids shooting their eyes out:scared1: (from The Christmas Story...told 'ya my DH would be watching it 24 hours - although he did change the channel to Top Chef, after the Disney parade).

did you have a busy day? i hope not.:grouphug:
