What do you do that you have a client coming?

I'm a certified STOTT Pilates trainer. I love working out of the house, the commute is great and I can get my laundry done at the same time...:lmao:

I'm outta here! Talk to you all later!

The 18th would be great but not the 17th. We are finally going to go to KSC on the 17th. I don't want to miss it because of a launch. Which, as I type that, seems strange....:rolleyes1

We are getting to the Raddison on the 16th and going to KSC on the 17th!!!

Thanks!

I think I will be pirate:Captain EarlyBird pirate:

WTG!!! I had to take DH to work because we are picking him up at 2:00 to leave for Cincinnati.

Big weekend there.......tomorrow we have been invited up into the radio booth to visit during the game with the broadcasters!

They are having the "Civil Rights Game" and luncheon in town. We stay at the hotel that is connected to the convention center. In town for the game/luncheon are Bill Clnton, Sugar Ray Leonard, Muhammad Ali, Bill Cosby, among others. I hope we "run into" someone. I'd love to meet Bill Cosby!

Have a great day!

Who has been to the Kennedy Space Center? Any tips for me? We are staying at the Radisson, they have a KSC package (2 tickets plus transportation). We still need to get a ticket for Noah. Do we pre-purchase or wait until we arrive?

Noahsmom, we were there I believe in 2005. It's pretty amazing to see everything. It's one of those "Proud to be an American moments." We bought tickets ahead of time because we could get a discount. We did the tour that got you within a mile or two of the space shuttle launch area.

Good Morning everyone!!!

OK - I am kicking it in gear. I went to Joanns and bought all the FE stuff, and now I just need to make it. That will be this weekend.

Also - don;t know if anyone is interested, but I took the FE list from the first page and made a spreadsheet. If anyone wants a copy, I can email it. Just PM you email to me. I will wait until cutoff, and will update it as things change.

I put in columns for the cabin #, state, adults w/ names, kids w.names and # of adults and # of kids.

Just don't accidentally miss the turn into the tour center lot. UUUUmmm they are standing there at this little "hut". They come out with machine guns and additional ammo strapped on them!!!:scared1:That is one time I can remember fatphil saying NOTHING!!:lmao: I said, "I think we took a wrong turn". :worship::worship: They "let me" turn around. :rolleyes1 That was our "dollar tour"!!!

I was on the first Tortola Disney cruise and I need to ask a favor of anyone going to the Baths. I brought a little plastic bottle to collect sand at The Baths but I forgot to collect the sand and am very sad that I didn't.

Would anyone be willing to collect a little ziplock baggie of sand and mail it to me? I will pay you for shipping of course. The bottle is only 2 inches tall so I don't need a ton of sand. Just a little. This would mean so much to me. Please PM me if you'd be willing to help me out.

Thanks so much!!

I know he lurks, he just hasn't come out of the woodwork to post, yet!

:bday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOHN!!! :bday:

Yes, I married a younger man. :lmao:

Wait... so John's birthday is the day after yours? Wow, Happy Birthday to him too then! :cake:

You going to take him to Burger King for his B-day?

Maybe you could postpone it until.... oh I don't know.... July 18th so we could see it from the ship.

Finals are this week - half days until school gets out on the 24th.

1 Month to go

Hahhaa... yeah, I'll see what I can work out. I still havnt seen a launch myself, so that would be perfect.

What a great weekend! I recognize the voice of one of the Reds announcers, too! Thom Brennaman used to call for the Cubs...

A launch when we're there would be neat, but would you and Kristen get roped into working the launch?

LOL on the BK dinner :lmao: Yep, John is a day younger - same hospital even...Maggie and I went shopping this morning. Now, we're off to Randalls to plan dinner. She's cooking...

Thom is actually the one who invited us up when we ran into him this past winter. My husband and he went out together in Chicago with a mutual friend once after a Cubs game and he always remembers Mark. He is such a neat guy. HIs father is the lead broadcaster and is already in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
