We'll probably be at the Turf grill Mini-meet. Our room at SSR probably won't be ready until 4, so we'll be at SSR around that time. We have ressies at Citricos on Thurs eve so it will be a quick hello.

:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:looking forward to seeing everyone....(and a meal at EoS!):yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

my boys just informed me that they are attending the Harry Potter movie Wed. night/Thurs. morning at downtown Disney...wonder if they need to pre-order the tickets? My DH and DS (17) are HUGE Harry Potter fans.:cheer2:

Wanna tell you guys too, IF you have the time on the ship, PLEASE see the movie UP - it was GREAT....can't wait to see it again.:woohoo::woohoo:

OK, I better get moving, which means cleaning PART of the house before we leave. I don't feel like I'm going to clean the entire house this time, our 22 yr. old son will be home for a few days before flying to Florida to meet up with us.....believe me, IF I clean before we go, I will be upset when we get home....might as well wait!:scared1::scared1:
Speaking of 22 yr olds, turning 23 the week after cruise - are there any other single 22/23 yr. olds travelling with our group?:worship::worship:

Quick question about our Grand Gathering meet Fri. night:
Just going over my paperwork. It says 7:30 PM but doesn't say where. My memory says the Odessy building on the Mexico side between Future World and Mexico. Am I correct? I originally thought it was 7PM but the paper says 7:30.

You should come to Houston....

(kids taking a test this morning)

I spent a couple of months in San Antonio for Basic Training during the hottest months of the year... marching, and sweating, while my friends around me dropped like flies from heat exhaustion. I have NOOOOO desire to ever go back to Texas. :)

I can hardly keep up here. Ok - so today is my last day in the office until Tuesday. Will be traveling until Monday night, so I probably will not see you all much until then!!

Everyone who is leaving in the next few days HAVE FUN and BE SAFE!!! Can't wait meet you all there.

For those of us leaving last minute, like me, get packing!!!:laundy:

See you all next week!

Sounds great - "see you next week":yay::yay::yay:

Have safe travels, yourself! :)

I'm going out to buy a new washer (after the old one dumped ten gallons of water on the floor a few days ago), so packing is on my short list. :)

My step-mom said to call and make sure that your plan does have nationwide coverage, though. If you don't, then there's a possibility of roaming charges. And don't turn your phone on until you're off the boat and a good distance away from it so you accidentaly don't pick up its signal.

This is a really good tip -- I loved having Blackberry access on our last cruise, but my bill when I got home was SHOCKING. :scared1:

Most interesting one:

Gel shoe inserts - Gel shoe inserts are not permitted, but shoes constructed with gel heels are allowed and must be removed and screened. (I guess security guards are not "gel'ling")

And if you carry lip gloss or mascara in a makeup kit in your carry on, remember to pull at least the lip gloss out and put it on your clear bag. I've had way too many discussions with male TSA agents about the difference between lip gloss and lip stick. They've stopped taking mascara away, though, at least in Orlando.

But I get busted for random bottles of Purell all the time.

[opens door for husband to mock my Purell stash]

NIIIICE! We've been a couple of times, but the kiddos don't share their mother's interest in going, so we haven't been there enough to get the chance to go up there. Too bad, too, because Marcy's stellar at games like that. She'd do great in it.

How far did you get?!?!

And the one time I did ditch the kids to go to Millionaire by myself at MGM, I showed up, sat down, and then quizzically wondered why there were people dressed as Eewoks.

Stupid Star Wars weekend and Star Wars-themed Millionaire.

Are they staying in your cabin, or do you get college aged-kids their own cabin?

I'm sure they have plenty in common with my husband, even though he's almost twice their age.

Only because Star Wars nerds are typically the guys from your IT department, and control whether or not your internet connection works when you want it to.

Again... tread lightly... I am neither a nerd, computer geek or work in IT... the dark side is even more powerful.... :darth:

We may be at the Turf grill mini-meet, too! We get in to SSR on Wednesday, but are trying to keep it loose those few days so we'll be playing it by ear.

I don't mock your for that, anymore. But that does remind me that I bought the tethers to attach the ten gallon drum of Purell to the top of the minivan before we leave for the port. They were on sale at Lowe's, and I used a coupon.

:rolleyes1

I liked Star Wars until the new series, and that retroactively made me dislike them. Star Trek works for me, though. I love Bones. He reminds me of myself when I get up at six, and the children are already awake and demanding that I make them breakfast. :)

The "stupid" was only meant to describe my feelings of inadequacy when I discovered that all of the questions related to 6 movies, of which I haven't seen 2. :confused3 :happytv:

And, I might add, never got to see the awesome Muppet laden beginning of the third movie. The rest of it was pretty bad, but the first bit was AWESOME...

Wait... You HAVE seen the first three? I though you told me that you never saw the last one. Maybe that was Back to the Future. Hmmmm...
