Hello all.
I was just thinking the other day- one year ago, I could hardly contain my excitement regarding the 17th, and I now it is fast approaching once more. Is anyone else getting tinglies about going to wish Disneyland a happy 51st?

I would love to be three again. But....sadly, I can't. :(

My next trip is still 11 months away. Magic Music Days with my DD.

We go every year on July 17th, if only for a few hours. Just to say Happy Birthday to DL.

For the 49th birthday we were part of the "Stunt Team" the people who held up the photos to make the photo mosaic to kick off the Happiest Faces on Earth campaign. Still have my shirt.

Hello fellow Disney lovers-
I am moving to CA from NJ - on July 10th. So ... I am thinking I am going to go to Disneyland on the 17th for the birthday!! Wow!!!!!
I am a Disney World freak (being on the east coast). My husband's job is moving us - so ....
Anyway, I would love to go - any news on how crowded it gets? It is summer - so I would expect a lot!

I'm just looking foward to hearing Julie Andrews say during the fireworks, "50 years ago..." and saying, "It's 51, Julie."

We went to D/L in 98 on the 17th.BIIIIIGG mistake.Elbow to elbow(to be polite). ;) But you never know.Either way HAVE FUNN!!! :thumbsup2

Generally the 17th isn't much more crowded than a normal summer day unless it is a bigger number. However I do think they crowds get bigger earlier than normal in the morning since they usually have a little presentation in the morning.
