Are you really going to be onboard that night for the party? I am really so jealous now My daughter would love to meet Raven and Capt. Jack Sparrow.
As for the 13 days, we are spending some days at DL before the cruise. We were trying to do just the city tour with Mazatlan Frank, but we needed more people, so we will just go into town to shop.

We have booked Frank for the day! Brewery tour, city and beach.
It's see some city first (you could maybe go with us) then we are going
to brewery back for shopping and then eat at Tonys and beach fun!

I "freaked" out when I turned 4---0 a year & half ago. But friends told me it was the start of the best decade of their lives, you are older but not that old and you have wisdom that you didn't have when you were young. I do have to say it's been great so far! Hope you are having a lovely day!

Well, the ThreeJ's are doc dancin away!!

Our docs came today in the mail from our travel agent in Florida. How exciting! We've made a paper chain to count down the days. We stamped the chains with disney stamps. Cute. My DD is loves to take them off. She is cheering for the day we leave.

Is everybody planning on using US dollars when you shop in port? Is anybody going to get Pesos?

For those who have cruised Disney before, is there shampoo and conditioner provided in the cabins? I was trying to save some packing where I can. Is it best to bring our own?

Hope every one has a great long weekend to celebrate the 4th. I know what I'll be trying to do....pack

I don't think so... they haven't told us about it... but who knows. Yes that would be awesome!! My mom wanted to buy tickets for it, but they were wayyyyy to expensive for a one night thing. Thanks for asking though... only 15 days til my birthday!! and 16 til the cruise!! yes!!!

Congratulations Joy on receiving your documents. As for the shampoo, they do leave a shampoo/conditioner packet and lotion in each bathroom. You ask your stateroom host to load you up on them.

Michele, the towels and bathmats are plain white with no logo. One cruise director told us doing our debarkation talk, that Disney knew people would steal the towels to wrap up all the booze they bought, so they didn't do anything fancy with the towels. There is a nice clock in the room in the shape of the ship's blade thingy. It has a note with it that says if you like it you can get one in the gift shop. If you remove the one from your stateroom, you will be charged. I have heard that there has been a towel upgrade and that now they are the size of a bath sheet.

Cool, I could use a couple of those. Hopefully they are the ones you can take off board for your shore excursion.

I plan on getting my hair cut shorter than it is now before we go.

Joy - Glad you got your Docs, cute idea doing the paper chain. My girls are finally counting down the days. Need to finish our clothes shopping this weekend, the list my 16 yr old made looked like a back to school list! We will probably shop w/ dollars or credit cards. I've heard it's not a problem w/ US paper money but most retailers don't take US coins (their banks won't take them).

I was wondering about the pesos issue thing too. I know that the merchants and vendors will take US dollars. wasn't sure about if the post office would take dollars, we want to mail some postcards from Mazatlan.

Now that school is out and can concentrate on the cruise things are really starting to happen. DD4 asked me for a calendar of July so she could cross out the days. I found a Magic Artist Princess calendar creator on the Disney website. Came out great! Each of the girls has one on their doors. DW completed my Pirate puffy shirt today and it looks great. Can't wait!! Lastly we have spent the morning doing iron green mickeys and our door sign on tee shirts. Everyone has their own mickey, so we may not do the buttons. Hope that everyone has a great 4th!.
