Has anyone booked this cruise? Why is it a six-day cruise instead of a 7-day cruise?

I believe they're having some type of celebration on board the ship for the Disney VIP's between sailings.

July 17 is the official 50th birthday for Disneyland.

I read something that predicted that Michael Eisner will announce the third Disney Cruise Line ship at that party.

That's what I've heard too. Sat July 16th there is a media event scheduled on the Magic. Rumor has it that plans to build the new ship will be announced. It seems that the new ship will do West coast sailings during the fall-winter-early spring months and then move East to do special itinerary Caribbean cruises during the late spring-summer months.

I was wondering about this too since we are sailing on July 30th. That will be really cool if they announce a new ship!

We are. I guess we are also the only ones from here doing it, I started a thread on the Cruise Meets board that has gotten no responses thus far.
