Hey, glad to hear from our fellow 7/13 cruisers. All of the kids in our group except one are boys. My friend's daughter Stacey is 12, so pretty close to your 11 year olds!
9 of us are booked on the 5 Star St John excursion also!
In St Maarten, most of my 27 are going to go over to LeGalion Beach on the French side. A co-worker of mine is from St Martin. She told me that it was a great beach for families because it is protected by a reef and the waters are shallow and always calm. There are watersports on the beach, and it's a short walk from Orient for the more adventurous.
Then we will go back over to Front Street and have lunch (and smoothies!) at Everyting's Cool. It's a great little place very close to the ship. They have great casual food, and just about any kind of fruit you want to blend into a smoothie, with or without alcohol. It's ultra casual, you sit on what looks like your neighbor's backyard furniture. But there's usually a band playing and they have a small beach that you can just walk a few steps down to. They even have lockers in case you want to stroll back onto Front Street. Hey, I should ask for a commission, sounds like I am advertising.
We are trying to get T shirts together to all wear at our "shared" cocktail party. If you see people with shirts that say "Look Out Disney Here We Come" on the front and "Cruise Crew 2002" on the back, that will be us. Hopefully we will get them done, my friend is having a little trouble with the graphics!! :0)
14 of us have a reservation at Palo's on Tuesday night.
Hope you all a great trip to Port Canaveral and that we get to see you on the Magic!!
Kat28, your first cruise? How great. I am the "cruise Queen" of my group. And I have been getting my friends hooked one by one. You are gonna love it!!
