My son , 18, and my daughter, 20, and i love disney and going on the cruise and taking in the parks and just about anything that deals with disney. july 12 eastern was our 5th cruise everything was great as usual, even my son had a great time which i was worried about because this was his first time not being the age for common grounds which he had loved to be in on the previous cruises. even before the cruise is over we're trying to figure out how to go again, which brings us to the on board booking problem. the rep. on board assured us that we could still receive the on board credit of $200 if I booked as soon as I got off the ship because I was unsure of my vacation time for next summer, I did book right away but was told I could not receive the credit because the booking had to be done while I was on the ship , which I understand, but the disney rep on board told us it would all work out if I booked as soon as possible . I explained all this to the booking agent who was very sympathetic and put us on to customer relations via E-mail and we were told we could not have the credit but would receive a "hand delivered invitation to the captains reception" and a rotating gift of choice for that year, all of which we appreciate but I do wish the rep on board had not given us bad advice on the $200 on board credit booking , so if your planning a repeat cruise while on the ship, book it right then and there and make the neccesarry changes later. Wish I had done that. ttfn
