Maybe he heard I was going to come up there and clean his clock if he didn't start helping you more!!

Or maybe he's just anxious for you to leave so he can have that kegger he's been planning.......:scratchin

We are just getting soaked with all this rain from Alex. Ugh. I am trying to stay positive in that I hope it means good weather next weekend and the week after. Maybe Mother Nature will take a rest from playing with the tropical waves for a couple of weeks.

I started throwing together what I call the "packing pile" last night. Basically I just throw what I think I want to pack into a pile. Then when I actually pack, I weed through it and make final decisions. The pile is always rather large, but I am hoping to narrow it down. I always pack waay too much, but I am determined to take advantage of the laundry on board before we disembark so we can spend the last 3 days in Orlando with clean clothes.

We are flying SW for the first time to FL, which means two bags each (if we really wanted to bring that much), but I might take advantage of packing one with clothes, with room to spare for souvenirs, and another small one for toiletries. We three girls go through alot of toiletries! ;)

That's kind of what I've been doing with the packing stuff.....different piles everywhere, and then I'll weed through the piles before they go in the bag. I've done it enough times, you'd think it was old hat by now.
:confused3:confused3
I can only have one bag no matter what, and one carry on, since I have to schelp it all around myself. And I'll also have to wash onboard, since we're doing WDW before, and then I fly straight to a weekend in San Francisco.

Well, I have to try to keep this a secret for nine more days. I packed most of his stuff and the snorkeling gear and what-nots on Wednesday morning (took off that day to go see Eclipse with the girls from work.)

I am debating on parking at the port (since we live here, we usually just get dropped off and save $75 (5 days, $15 a day). But as soon as a friend shows up at the house to drive us, he is probably going to know that we are heading to the Port. He might think we are heading to Orlando Int'l Airport, but that's a lot to ask of somebody to drive you and pick you up from there, so he probably wouldn't think I would ask anyone to do that.

I also think I'm going to blindfold him. He says I can't because I did it a few years ago and drove around in every direction to confuse him, then met some friends at The Melting Pot. He was embarrassed (which is pretty hard to do).

Looking forward to meeting you all. Remind me again the time and place for the Meet and Greet.

Thanks! Happy Fourth of July!!
Lisa

That's got to be hard....I could never trick anyone, I get too excited and have too big a mouth.

Which reminds me, where IS Scoopie??? Should I bring Scoopie2?

Good morning everyone!

We sail in 9 days!

MARY - I was up first - hope you don't mind....

We are doing the single digit dance.:banana::banana::banana:

You should bring Scoopie - since he didn't make the Baltic Cruise....

Good Luck - Good Luck - Good Luck...

Would you know anyone who might be taking a cruise? You can say that so and so just called and the want us to meet them at GRILSS (or another resturant) for breakfast - and then tell him you said yes.

If Scoopie 1 has not shown up - you had better bring Scoopie2.

I guess he needs a pirate outfit?

Yes, poor Scoopie2 has no clothes. :sad2:

And he's already watching over my packing pile....I think he was afraid he wasn't going to get to come this time.

He appeared in a lot of our pictures. He happened to be sitting next to the fancy-schmancy coffeemaker when I took a picture, and he was seated in our living area when I took a picture of that. He didn't like the whale-watching so much, but he enjoyed his visit with the ticket-taker on the train.

Oh boy, what was Mary doing now?

Of course I call the new ship DREAMs - because that was the name I would have chosen.:cutie:

She's just stirring the pot for Jim. She didn't do anything. It's just that it's always ME who's being told to stay off, so I just ONCE wanted to say it to someone else.

Nick & Kristin...here's what it boils down to.....you two will have a BEAUTIFUL wedding, in one of the most special places you could possibly get married.
What matters the most is that you'll each be with the person you love most in the whole world, sharing your day with friends and family.
It doesn't matter where you cut the cake, as long as you do it together.
Two very important life/marriage lessons......Laughter and Flexibility.
:love::love::love:

So true. We've been trying not to stress out about anything and just go with it. Regardless of what happens we will still show up and get married and it'll be memorable, even if it is an improv wedding. :woohoo:

Glad Stacey cleared that up. I've just been reading the main boards not posting. But "sitting the pot" with Sir Scuba is fun when the opportunity arises.

Woo Hoo a UTOP with Stacey, Irene and Jim!

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

That reminds me.....I'm packing a 1.5L Banfi for you.

Lisa "earned" this last year at a competition. I've been holding it to share. Now seems like a good time.

:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

Just beware....I don't think you've ever seen the Moms in action. Plus we can add a few other ladies to the mix this time.:banana:

Garry, Vicki and I have a pretty good party balcony, by the way. :thumbsup2

But we've only got one pot to sit. :stir::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Oh yeahhhh....we're on a roll now!!!
