Juan says "BAAAA!" - 12/24 - Our last few Disney hours. COMPLETE

So Brook you know what I should be doing right now...working out...you know what I'm doing...majorily enjoying your update YAY!!! What a great update!! I loved the photos of Henry in the Boneyard..he looked like he was having a great time just playing around!!!

YAY for only a 10 minute wait at EE...I'm hoping for the same luck this weekend...EEEK did I just say this weekend LOL!!!

Hmmm...lunch looked yummy and yes I agree with the weather being abnormally warm and HUMID the last week I would have gone for a nice break in the air conditioning!!

Super update!! As usual love all your detailed photos! It looks like you guys had such fun. H's rosy cheeks are too cute. Seems like there were hardly any people there! Hope that trend continues!! I will be keeping the air conditiony goodness of Pizzafari in mind as it looks like I will be combatting some heat too. Somehow I think I'll manage.

Flame Tree does always smell so good, but the AC of Pizzafari wins out very often. Pizzafari is also great for picture-taking! :goodvibes Jill and I have decided that since we have done both of those many times and we've done Tusker House, we're going to go to Restaurantosaurus in October and check it out.

Brooklynn loves sliding in The Boneyard, too. That's great that you and Joe both got quick rides on Everest and also some playtime with Henry.

I enjoyed the pictures to start my morning off. We have state people coming today, so I had to come here and suck up some Disney happiness to get me through the visit of the 'clipboard brigade', as we call them.

Great pics at the Boneyard! My boys used to love that place, too. It was great how you used that as your own child-swap area; much more interesting for the tot!

Great update broke!!!

Those WDW birds are crazy! I don't think they care what they eat!!

My kiddos LOVE the boneyard! Ryan hasn't played there yet because he was napping when DD and DS went last trip but I'm sure he'll love it next month just as much as his brother and sister do!! DS6 would be happy to plan an entire trip around the different playgrounds in the parks and resorts!!

Your lunch sounds nice and relaxing!! Air conditioning definantly wins out over outdoor BBQ when it's that hot out!

Can't wait to read more!

This weekend!!!! :yay: How excited are you??? I haven't been up to date on the PTRs lately for everyone that is heading down, I need to get crackin' this week so I am up to speed! I VERY much look forward to the TRs with all the DIS meets. :thumbsup2

I hope your crowd levels are low like ours too-it was GREAT!! I did look up the best/worst park on touringplans.com and also avoided the parks with EMH, so that might have a bit to do with it...:confused3

Thank you for the comment on Henry - he loves that Boneyard!

The crowds were very low! It was GREAT! I couldn't believe how un-crowded it was. And it wasn't just like that at AK either....:thumbsup2 I really hope the low crowds continue for all of you headed down so soon. If you see my comment above to Jen we did use the best/worst park suggestions on touringplans.com (except our MK day), and we also avoided parks with EMH, so that might have helped some.

Oh ya, the heat, even if you are dripping (ew!) is sooooo worth it. As per CP's report, Restaurantasaurus is also air conditioned, I didn't realize it at the time or I would have suggested it being we were right next to it!

Flame Tree does always smell so good, but the AC of Pizzafari wins out very often. I am thinkin' December for Flame Tree. Comfort food in the winter months, plus it will be a bit cooler. It better not be as cool as last January when I was warming my hands on a chai. :sad2:

I'm looking forward to your review on Restaurantosaurus! CP mentioned her family likes it, it does seem highly under reviewed, doesn't it?

I think the Boneyard is such a neat area-I'm sure kinds are just in a wonderland when they enter through there.

Oh, glad my report could provide some MUCH needed happiness before the clipboard brigade! :rotfl: (My Mom, a nurse, also calls the State that when they visit her!!)

Oh my goodness! Where have I been that I didn't find this? OK, I have lots of pages to catch up on!!!!

Update, update!!:cool1: Your pictures of Henry are always so adorable!! I love the fact that you came up with such a cool (literally) game! We always usually eat at Flame Tree, but I would certaily go with your plan if it was "dripping" hot.... I've never been in the heat of summertime, and I don't think I'd do all that well. Thanks for the update and the great pics!

P.S. Shameless plug, I started my PTR!! Only two months until my trip, but hey, at least I did it!!:goodvibes

Love the new update. Getting me a little worried about the heat though. I don't want the boys to be miserable. Looks like you were having a good time in spite of it though, nothing can be too bad if you're at disney right? lol I can't wait to take Cole to the boneyard it looks like a really neat area. Can't wait for more.

Joe had pizza!?! I am SHOCKED. Shocked I tell you! ;)

At first when I read your title of dripping, I thought it was going to be raining. I was happy it was just HOT. That is better than rain. :thumbsup2

Great update. The last time I have visted boneyard was in 1999 I beleive. It was still basically being built. Dinosuar had an outside que then. And boneyard was totally open. My DD (the one thats 17 now) loved the dig site. I t was completely open then, and I was amazed at how the outside looked this past trip. I didn't venture in though for fear Claire would like it. LOL!

Henry looks adorable with his little rosy cheeks! :lovestruc I'm glad you enjoyed your lunch and got to cool off a bit.

Denise

Hey Brook,

Great update!

Don't you just love the boneyard-so well done and great for the little (and not so little) ones...:thumbsup2...(The detailing in there is absolutely fabulous...)

It's weird-we've never done Pizzafari...:confused3...we'll definitely have to try it-usually over at Flamefree...but it would make a nice change...good pics...

I did EE this time for the first time...I enjoyed it...maybe not quite as much as you though...:lmao:...last seat huh...you are brave...

hmmm...I think a need a coffee-the anytime of day beverage...:lmao:..be back soon...:surfweb:

Thanks for the pix of the Boneyard. Liam was too little last year to try it but I know he will be all over it like Henry next time.

And I just had a great idea for my coming trip. If it's hot out, I'm going to get my lunch at Flame Tree and walk over to Pizzafari and eat in the AC! Thanks for making me think of that.

Im loving the trip report, Brook!! Love all the pictures and especially the ones of the wait times:thumbsup2 Those are AMAZING wait times and I would love to see some of those whenever we get to go again:cloud9:
Im glad you finally got to see FOTLK! It is our favorite show ever:thumbsup2
Cant wait to read more....patiently waiting:surfweb:

The boneyard is SO much fun!! My boys love it, too, and it's nice to let them stretch their little legs and run and climb!! I laughed outloud about the converstaion you and Henry had about the yellow construction hat, my Cole would have been the SAME way! I was waiting for you to tell us he had a melt down or you needed to find one to buy! Good distraction with the water fountain, Brook!!:thumbsup2 Sometimes those conversations don't go so well...lol!!:lmao:

I"m caught up now, so you can carry on....lol!!;)

Btw, CONGRATS on staying home with Henry!!!!! Good for you guys for figuring it out.....I've been home since my oldest was born, luckily so, there are some days I would rather be working but most days, i'm the luckiest girl in the world to be home with my babies!!!! Enjoy the time at home!!!!!!!! They get SO big SO fast, as you're seeing!!!!:sad2:

I'm just loving all the updates....

Dinosaurs rule in our house so thanks a ton for posting all the pics of the Boneyard! I can't wait to check it out next week!!! :cool1::rotfl2: It should be hot as well and just like sweet Henry, my DS gets bright red cheeks too! I always know he's really hot by his face! I love Henry's bright blue eyes and red cheeks - too cute.

I hope to check in with you before we leave but I'm going to be in packing mode this weekend - you understand!! :thumbsup2

Heather

I really liked how that worked out for our child-swap area, it's not too far of a walk to EE and gave H a good amount of time in there!

Great update broke!!!

Those WDW birds are crazy! I don't think they care what they eat!!

Oh ya, Ryan is gonna love it I bet!! Aren't the playgrounds at WDW just awesome? We love HISTK too...despite it being 4 million degrees in there. I heard a rumor they were going to change that to be Toy Story themed, like you were in Andy's room....I wonder if it's true?

Oh my goodness! Where have I been that I didn't find this? OK, I have lots of pages to catch up on!!!!

Hey there!!! :goodvibes Use the links on the first post to skip over the chit-chat if ya want to.

Update, update!!:cool1: Your pictures of Henry are always so adorable!! I love the fact that you came up with such a cool (literally) game! Thanks for the update and the great pics!

P.S. Shameless plug, I started my PTR!! Only two months until my trip, but hey, at least I did it!!:goodvibes

Thank you!! Henry was having such a ball in there, it was fun to capture some of those moments with our camera. I don't think I would do well in July or August :sad2: :faint: maybe early June...

I opened the link for your PTR on my computer-I will try to get over there soon and catch up!! Thank you for the plug!! :thumbsup2

Love the new update. Getting me a little worried about the heat though. I don't want the boys to be miserable. Henry did pretty well with the heat-we just always had some water on hand, and I would sometimes get a cup of ice from the vendors (it's free). The mini-fan did help a LOT though. While it was very, very hot - we were still having a great time, nothing could bring us down!! Cole is going to love the Boneyard! There are slides of all sizes, stuff to climb on, stuff that makes noise, and then the giant sandbox "The Dig Site" - it's a little boy's dream! ;)

Joe had pizza!?! I am SHOCKED. Shocked I tell you! ;)

At first when I read your title of dripping, I thought it was going to be raining. I was happy it was just HOT. That is better than rain. :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: I know, I thought I would for sure get some kick back from Joe on the suggestion of Pizzafari...:laughing::laughing:

I agree, hot is MUCH better than rain. Especially that hot rain when it's already hot out, and you have to wear a poncho. ick.

Great update. The last time I have visted boneyard was in 1999 I beleive. It was still basically being built. Dinosuar had an outside que then. And boneyard was totally open. LOL!

It's so fun to hear about what Disney used to look like! I'm excited now that we go every year to see what will change over the next 10 years.

Claire WOULD love it! Did you spend time at Honey I Shrunk the Kids? That one is even more appealing probably...I'm sure it won't be quite as easy to tear Henry away as he gets older!

Henry looks adorable with his little rosy cheeks! :lovestruc I'm glad you enjoyed your lunch and got to cool off a bit.

Denise

Thank you!! Those rosy cheeks are pretty cute, aren't they? :goodvibes He was so excited and running around in there!

The details in the Boneyard is awesome-I'm always seeing something new and such neat little details that add to the theme. I love that about Disney.

Pizzafari is pretty decent-I like the atmosphere and....air conditioning

The last seat on EE was fun! Now I just gotta try that FIRST seat. ;)

I love your coffee comments! I agree, an anytime beverage! :thumbsup2

Oh ya! Liam will be all over that place and loving every moment!! It's a fun place - if we get there in December I'll try to remember to take some more generic pics of the slides and tunnels too.

That is a GREAT idea on grabbing Flame Tree and taking it to Pizzafari! I'm going to try to log that into my memory for the future...

The wait times were GREAT all trip long! We LOVED it. I took note of a few of the more impressive ones and will share more as we go through the trip, but overall, I think the longest line we waited in was 15 minutes.

FOTLK was just awesome! We really enjoyed Nemo on a previous trip too, so it will be a hard toss up if we have to choose one!

The boneyard is SO much fun!! My boys love it, too, and it's nice to let them stretch their little legs and run and climb!! I laughed outloud about the converstaion you and Henry had about the yellow construction hat, my Cole would have been the SAME way! Enjoy the time at home!!!!!!!! They get SO big SO fast, as you're seeing!!!!:sad2:

The water fountain distraction game worked really well-I got lucky the idea just came to me and that Henry loved it! He's also starting to understand the fact that Mommy can't do everything. Okay...at least I hope he's starting to understand. :rotfl2:

Thank you for the encouragement about staying at home! I am excited about it, and I know I'll have those days when I'm exhausted and just wishing I had an average job - but overall, like you said, I think I'll feel very fortunate that I get to stay home and enjoy the time with Henry (and any future kids!)

Another update probably on Thursday!! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2

Heather

The Boneyard is a really neat area!! Lots of stuff for kids of all ages too-there are things to climb through, climb on, slides and more. And soooo much to look at, all sorts of great details. You'll love it!

No worries at all if you can't check back in - I understand, you've got a lot going on...a trip just around the corner!! Doesn't it feel good to say "next week"? :yay::yay: In case you aren't able to check back in, HAVE A MAGICAL TRIP!!!!

Okay...how have I missed all these TRs starting? Oh, that's right....I'm working my behind off at work....;)

Well I just used your handy links and am now caught up.:thumbsup2

Pizzafari-you may have answered this, but did you enjoy your sandwich. It's the one thing on the menu there that I like. I also don't mind their breadsticks. Don't you love the detailing in this restaurant?

AK=the hottest park EVER.

Oh, sickness..maybe I gave you the Swine over the internet....;)
