JR Pass Price Increase

Heads up, everyone. JR is set to increase the JR Pass price by 69% beginning October 2023. Frankly, that’s crazy and I see very little use for a JR Pass at that price.

Practically was inevitable to be honest. The 2 week pass was an unbelievably good deal for the price. They probably have too many tourists using it now.

Don’t know about that. You basically break even with a round trip between Tokyo and Kansai with a 7-day pass. If the price increases significantly, might as well just by regular tickets.
