Jr. Hi teachers are the bravest people!

God love 'em. Dealing with 12 and 13 year olds on a daily basis is a daunting task.. all those hormones in the air... YIKES!! Just think of your dd and ds who are of this age.. now put 33 of them in a small space... to try to teach them Math or Science, History or Language Arts.. now have 3 or 4 of those kids be ESL kids, and a couple of kids with 504 plans to assist their learning disabilities..

I just finished a 504 planning meeting with dd teaching group. They were happy to comply with the plan and even made great improvements that they thought would help sis to achieve her goals.

It's kinda funny because I'm currently working on my Bachelor's in Elementarty Education. When I tell people that, they pause and look at me like I'm nuts and then ask, "why are you doing that to yourself???"

Hello! Different strokes for different folks! I can handle younger kids, but once they go through that, "your not my mom don't talk to me like you have control over me" attitude, you couldn't pay me enough money in all the world to do that everyday!

Just be proud that there are those who are strong enough to go through it everyday!
