I've only been to disney 4 times, but I have noticed a trend.. there's always some kind of issues the week before you leave. Going in Sept in the past it's been hurricane watching. Our first trip we went the week after Katrina hit, in fact the next hurricane was passing over the Keys as we were driving down.

And the gas prices were up there. The next trip, was more hurricane watching. My last trip, my husbands' aunt was at the point of death and had been for several weeks and we were not sure of what to do. We ended up with the day we came home being visitation. So it has all worked out before.
This trip, my FIL is taken by ambulance to the hospital late Sunday night, with chest/stomach pain. He has had prior heart problems so we were scared to death. He's still in the hospital undergoing tests, but they are suspecting possible gall stone. We're waiting on answers for that. Please send your prayers for him. We hope to get some news, any news soon.
Same night, my DS wakes up

Stomach virus, so he was sick all day yesterday out of school yesterday and today. He has finally eaten, within the last hour

First food since Sunday lunch. I was stressing over missing school and now he's missed more. I spoke with his principal and she was great. Now I'm just praying really hard that the rest of us do not get this. I cleaned EVERYTHING in my house yesterday.
So that's where we are now, living one minute at a time...on a brighter note... the weather forecast looks pretty good, I only see rain once for our trip and sounds like a quick event. And I have suitcases down and am packing.
Any pixie dust you can send us is very welcomed.
