I think that’s eventually what it will be, but people are excited to check out the new thing. I’m assuming the VQ is to keep it from being too crowded so that the people inside can actually enjoy it.A vq for JoW?I was thinking it was just an area to wander into. I guess I need to read up. We will be there in a couple of weeks.
Thank you for the heads up. We’ll be there next week.I just got a virtual time for Journey of Water. I have boarding group 71. I was looking to book another Genie+ at 11:00 and it was available so I grabbed it.
Like @sadiecatie said while it is a walkthrough attraction there are many interactive elements so during more popular times they have been enacting a VQ so that they can limit the capacity of guests moving around so they can enjoy those and not be packed in a coral of peopleA vq for JoW?I was thinking it was just an area to wander into. Everything I have read says it is 9 AM and you have to be in Epcot. I don't know if that is how it is actually working right now though. I can see it on the app with a join button but I am not even in Florida so can't go that far in the process.is the VQ dropping at 7AM at the same time as guardians?
I know with AP/DVC previews it was on an as needed basis idk if it’s that way for soft open as well I went on 10/3 nothing was listed on the app about a VQ and I walked right in at 12:40is the VQ dropping at 7AM at the same time as guardians?
Do you have to interact? We're adults that don't enjoy interacting with characters. Is it possible to just walk through and see the attraction without participating or feeling weird about it?I got a VQ for Moana on October. Wonderful experience for all ages. Not rushed. Interactive and calming.
I believe the interaction that is being discussed is with the water features rather than a character. Guests may participate in the elements where they physically interact with the water or, choose a dry option where they can observe but don’t have to interact with the water.Do you have to interact? Like above posters have said it’s motion sensitive interactive features with some of the water elements …there is a dry path optionDo you have to interact?
