Does anyone know how much time you get on the beach with this excursion? The other options are the beach express (TT68) to beef island or the Island drive and beach break to Cane Garden Bay (TT11). We have 3 kids - 3, 6 and 14.

Would we make it back in time for lunch at Cabanas (Kids with food allergies (milk, eggs, seeds, nuts) but can have things like grilled fish and guacamole). Is there a dress code to order food from the bar?

Also, you don’t have to swim to the shore? Are the small boats included or extra?

So there are two options here. We were on the Christmas sailing. Friends of ours did this excursion and it met in the theatre about 7:15. It's about a 45 minute boat ride and then a 5 minute taxi ride so they likely arrived around 8:30. We booked the excursion that included lunch and arrived at about 10:30-11. At that time the taxis that dropped us off were picking our friends up. So figure about 2-2.5 hours at the beach. You can go to the Soggy Dollar and they have food there. We fed the kids there as they didn't like the included food. It's about a 200 yard walk from where the group is situated and very easy plus you need to try one of their famous painkillers anyway. With the included lunch we had about 3 hours there and when they picked us up a group from Celebrity was arriving.

We would love the beach day but we booked our cruise late and it’s sold out; we got the beach transfer because someone cancelled (we’re a party of 5). I figure half a day there is better than none.

I was watching a video and it shows that the ferry docks on another side of the island and then you take a taxi to the beach. It seems like it’s quite chilly in April (our cruise is in April as well).

It is not alot of time at the beach, but with littles, it may be enough, about a couple of hours. No swimming to shore. Even back in the day they had a transfer boat with a ramp. Painkillers at the Soggy are not to be missed.

Are masks required at the gift shop? I know it’s no longer a requirement at BVI but it’s up to individual establishments.

What was the included lunch and did it include any drinks?

Keep checking back. We also booked late and I kept checking daily and it came up and I was able to book the day. Possibly even when you are on board
