I can't believe my wedding is 15 days away!! We finalized the BEO (can post if anyone would like to see it). Our first song was originally "A Whole New World" but my planner Tanis mentioned how they have other songs available that aren't Disney so we went with "I'll Be" we are so excited!! The floral came to about 800 so I hope it will be worth it! We had some communication issues with Rosie so fingers crossed!

I am having Rev. Kevin Knox perform my ceremony. ALthough Theresa responded to all of my emails, she specificall wrote Kevin Knox is available and will be delighted to perform the ceremony. So I would just double check the emails and see if she mentions his name in any way.

Sooo excited! We love on Monday (3 days) to Disney. Thank goodness we live in Florida or I would have had to pay a fortune for my luggage. My fiance thinks I am crazy I have 5 bags! Most of it is wedding related; programs, sand ceremony items, welcome bags, and tons of clothes! I didn't know what I would feel like wearing so I brought a ton of skirts and dresses as well as normal t-shirts and shorts.

I just received my rhinestone transfers from Etsy they are awesome. Now I just have to make sure I don't screw it up when I put them on (it seems easy enough . My guests are all excited but many have not been to Disney so they are overwhelmed which makes me overwhelmed! I have heard a lot of "its so expensive!" and I keep saying "I know but its so worth it!". I wonder if they share that same feeling!

I will keep everyone posted we are counting down the days! I just hope we don't melt at SBP!! Does anyone know the timeline for a 10 am wedding? I know my flowers come at 9:15 but I don't have a clue what is going on after that or where my fiance will be the whole time. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Tanis Armstrong: A+
I love Tanis! I know she is hard to get ahold of but I know she is truly busy so I didn't really mind. She always answered all my questions and helped me with my custom non-escape standard details. On the day of my wedding she was fantastic!

Rosie the florist:C
Okay, I know it seems low but I had major problems with Rosiemy floral. She missed my first two phone appts and then kept calling the wrong number. Her assistant was very rude and unhelpful as well. When I did get ahold of her she was very sweet and kind but then when I got the BEO for the flowers it was all wrong and I had to go through the process all over again. Also, the flowers for the cake were incorrect and they poured some of the sand into my sand ceremony container on "accident".

Reverened Kevin Knox: A+
We decided to prepay before the day based on some of the reviews I had read. Everything went very smoothly and he was a great person! My dad really enjoyed talking to him. He also directed some of my bridesmaids who stood in the wrong spot!

Apex Media: A
I haven't gotten my DVD back yet but George was amazing to work with and was very unobtrusive. He was so sweet and his prices are amazing!

Beaute Speciale: A
I was a little worried about booking them since I had cancelled a previous company due to bad reviews. I was told Ana may not be available but she came along with a wonderful woman who did hair and make-up. They were fantastic! They came on time and were so funny and upbeat they made me feel at ease and my mom adored them!

Carolyn Allen's: A+
They were amazing! Keith is such a funny person and was so helpful. We first went to Mens Warehouse but I didn't feel "special" there. So we drove to Carolyn Allen's and meet Keith. It is a family run business and they really are experts! They helped us pick everything out. I know they are a little more but it is well worth it. The best value is that they came to our room the day before free of charge and had all the groomsmen and of course the groom try on all the tuxes. A few were a little tight so they brought them back later that day. When we were done we just dropped them off at the lobby to be picked up. It was so easy!

Randy Chapman: A+
Everything you have read about Randy is true! He was absolutely AMAZING! A real professional he knew how to pose us correctly which places were the best to go to. He let us also pick the pictures we wanted. I can't wait for our pictures to come back! He also brought me my bouquet and allowed us to add more time on the spot!

The Wave Restaurant: A
The Wave at the Contemporary went out of their way to work with us. They gave us a private room that Disney Floral had decorated and included white tableclothes and colored napkins. Since we had a lunch they let us use dinner entree to create a more formal lunch. They were great to work with and we set up a custom four course meal. They also served our wedding cake free of charge. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time.

For any escape brides looking for a great reception area The Wave at the Contemporary has been fantastic to work with if you have any questions let me know!

We are having a lunch reception there in a private room starting at 12:30 for about 22 people. The manager has been great to work with and helped us to change some things on our menu to our liking. I love that it is a private room and the restaurant is very modern and pretty. The room itself is a little dark because there are no windows but we are having Disney florist decorate it with candles and flowers so I think it will come out really great. **Plus it doesn't trigger the minimum!

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of menu did you end up having? We were looking at their menu as a possible lunch/dinner place for after our escape wedding too but I wasn't too thrilled with the menu options!

Sure!! We did a custom menu that came to $50 a person. Fruit salad, choice of duck or house salad, entree: today's fish, pork tenderloin, beef tenderloin, pasta chicken, dessert sampler of 3 mini dessert ny cheesecake, mouse, creme brulee. It was great I will post pictures asap!
