I'm pretty sure the public high schools here take FCAT every year, and I know you take SATs [like the real ones xD] in Junior year I believe. That would totally suck to have to do an entire grade over because you failed a test. xD Some people are just bad test takers. Lol, I remember in 3rd grade our teacher very firmly told us NOT to talk about the test AT ALL afterwards, but of course we did and got so freaked out because all the tests are different. Some people's tests had one story, and the other's would have a different one. We were like, You know the story with the goats??? And then we'd be like, um no?? I kind of know why our teachers told us NOT to talk about the test, lol. xD
Ugh I am way excited to go back to public school. xD The school I've gone to for the past, umm almost 3 years? is so SMALL. I mean, it's kind of cool because we're almost all like family, but kind of annoying because the 8th grade has a grand total of 9 [including me] kids. There is like...maybe 30 something in the whole middle school? And 300 something in the whole school [it's a Preschool-8th grade school]. It was kind of a big change from my elementary school which was HUGE.

yay SAT. should be fun. i can't wait. i just love tests. xD
haha that happens to me and my friend on our alg 2 tests this year. like one time i had a word problem about a squirrel and hers was about a birthday cake or something? haha they're the weirdest. the one on our test today was like "a certain part of australia has 80,000 kangaroos. the population decreases by 67% every year due to poachers, and 20,000 are added every year. write the rule for the number of kangaroos in the nth year" and i was like 'kangaroos...really? there are EXACTLY 80 thousand kangaroos and it decreases by EXACTLY 67% every year? come on what are the odds' xD
woah that is small! my middle school i think had about 80 kids in our grade, and like 800 ish in the whole school or something like that. my school now has about 200 a grade, i think the seniors are at 200 eve, the juniors are like 211, my class is 216, and the freshmen have like 240 or something ridic like that

Yeah it's super tiny, I don't even know how much longer this school is going to last. We're like losing students every year and we never get new kids. The last new kid that came to my class was in 7th grade and I think she got scared off. xD She came to visit for a day, then never came back.

'Fly With Me' which is also the end title credit for the upcoming Night At The Museum 2 film, due in theaters May 22, was written by Jonas Brothers and their bass player Greg Garbowsky, and is sure to become a love song for the ages. On 'Poison Ivy' Jonas Brothers added a horn section.

Rolling Stone described 'Poison Ivy' as a 'Weezer-ish tune about a toxic girl
that you can't resist.' 'Hey Baby' is a classic 'she done him wrong" song written entirely by Jonas Brothers. Nick explains, 'We wrote this song for the last record while on the road and felt the old school sound was more cohesive with our present style.'

it took me a couple seconds though, i was like "hugh...moore...what? oh, humor" xD
and in 8th grade our book that we used was written by one guy alone and he liked to use random names like Butch Err and Janet Err. xD

well now apparently all after school sports and such are cancelled through may 11th
oh and someone who lives in my county and goes to school 7 miles away from me has the swine flu, so her school is being shut down.

She was telling me that they had to drag her in there.I was like, yeah whatever, she is probably exaggerating.Then, we were watching this morning show on tivo about it and they showed a pic and YIKES!! That would have been awful. I cannot even describe how horrible it looks.. I will try to find a pic. K, so shots totally freak me out..like even thinking about them is awful. I tried to find a pic but after about 3 seconds I started squirming too much to function so I had to exit out the tab. Sorry.

apparently it started with some kid on some pig farm in mexico where he some how or another contracted it from a pig, which is apparently really hard to do, so since our bodies are generally not exposed to it we have problems fighting it off, which is why people are worried about it, especially those in poorer areas (like mexico) or those who dont have healthcare, because they wont be able to treat it. the kid who died was from mexico, but he was like in brownsville or something trying to get help and they flew him to texas children's but it was too late to do anything. and since it's contagious, it's easy to get because our bodies cant fight it off.
i just hope no one at my school gets it, because a lot of girls in my grade hang around with kids who go to the highschool where the infected student goes, and i do not plan on the school being shut down any more this year because i refuse to go to school in june xD

so im going to new york for girl scouts and JB is gonnna be at the Today show when were going (theyre putting on a concert) and my leader was like "yea i'll go with you guys at three in the morning and we'll wait for them. we just have to get... like 4 hours of sleep so you guys wont be grumpy." she was being totally serious! me and leah were like so i think the plan is that some one is gonna bring a tent and well sleep in it in the streets of new york. im just afraid someone will like... attack us or something
