so i just went to the orthodontist and i got rubber bands. and as uneventful as that sounds it means i am THISMUCHCLOSER to getting my braces off, finally

That is super cool Hannah! I have braces right now too. I had them when I was younger for three years. The ones that I have now have been on since October and I get them off in March or April. Let me just tell you right now... WEAR YOUR RETAINER!!! Or else you will be like me and end up having to get them again. But, I share in your excitement.. I cannot wait!

oh yes i DEFINITELY plan on wearing my retainer
my neighbors have all had braces twice because they never followed the rules
i've had braces since april of 2006 and i REFUSE to wear them again
eep i know i'm so excited! the projected date to get them off is april 17...which would make it EXACTLY three years

Still dont.

but the ladies that work for him and do the actual stuff are really nice! except for the new one who cut my mouth and is a bxtch to me.

i've had more metal crap in my mouth than necessary
i just feel really bad for my friend's sister, she got her braces on summer after 8th grade, she's a senior in high school now and she STILL has them on. she's just hoping she gets them off before she graduates college xD

I would hate that. xD I think I would've given up hope at that point.
And it's like, after you get your braces on they get all this cool stuff that makes it go faster. All my friends are getting like Invisalign and the really fast moving braces and stuff. xD I'm like dang it! xD

yeah all these kids in my sister's grade (7th) are getting braces, and then like a week later they have rubber bands on. i'm like really? i had to wait over 2.5 years for those, and you're getting them after a week?
