So, I needed to share my excitement with some people who would actually appreciate it (all of my friends hate Jonas. haa)
ANYWAY.
Today, I got to NYC at 9:30 am. And waited 8 1/2 hours in the freezing cold for an Honor Society Concert. (So worth it, we were 2nd row.)
And we made a bunch of friends and hung out with them and ordered pizza while online, froze our butts off, yadda yadda.
So we finally get inside. And the place is PACKED.
It was at the Fillmore Theater, not the biggest place, but decent sized, and it was COMPLETELY FULL. I couldn't even lift my arms.
Anyway, HS is supposed to start at 7:00, and the doors opened at 6:00. So we're waiting around listening to music, blah blah. And randomly I look up at the balcony like 2 feet to my right. And who do I see? Mr. JT.
So of course I yell, "NO WAY, JOHN TAYLOR!"
Which prompts Garbo to appear from thin air and walk over to the side of the balcony.
Which prompts the entire crowd to scream and freak out. Which then prompts Garbo to make this hilarious face and then like dive back into the crowd on the balcony.
Then, a little later, HS gets on. And the crowd is FREAKING OUT, everyone was so into it.
So I looked up at the balcony again (remember, this is ridiculously close to me) and who do I see?
From left to right, Papa Creeps, CAMILLA, Joe, Nick, and Kevin.
Camilla and Joe are flirting like CRAZY. She was laughing the whole time and he was smiling. They were actually extremely cute together.
And Nick was like bobbing to the music.
And Kevin was being hilarious. Doing the robot and like guido pumping and cracking up.
So I start taking pictures, and Kevin sees me and smiles at me. Which obviously made me very very happy :]
THEN, Honor Society, after like 8 songs, is like, "You guys deserve a belated Valentine's present. Our friends and your's, please welcome the JONAS BROTHERS!"
And out come all of them. 5 feet away from me. The crowd FLIPS THE FREAK OUT.
I was literally slammed up against the barricade as people tried to get closer. And at one point, my feet were completely off the ground and I was just floating in midair, smooshed by the barricade and people.
But I was basically front row, and they did "Don't Close the Book" with HS (amazing song, check it out.)
And they were SO HAPPY. Just laughing and smiling the whole time, and talking about how they played in the same theater 3 years ago, and it hadn't sold out like it had tonight.
And, my number one weakness is Nick on the piano. I think it's just. THE most beautiful thing.
So, he's playing the piano, really getting into it. He looks up over the piano and locks eyes with me. Holy shiza. It was magical :]
And then Kevin smiled at me again onstage.
So then the song ends and they go offstage, and HS continues.
So I look back up at the balcony and Joe and Camilla are flirting again. And then Joe looks at me (probably because of the flash from the camera) and just stares at me for a second. Like, not annoyed, but just like, not happy either? So I stopped taking pictures of him. Ahaha.
But overall. Umm. Crazy spectacular night.
Locked eyes with ALL of them. Saw them perform basically front row in a small, intimate theater. When the closest I had gotten before was 17th row.
Ahh I'm still all excited. I just needed to share :]
